Gulf Stream Coach Inc. reported strong sales, particularly for its Conquest Class C and BT Cruiser motorhomes, during last week’s  National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky. while also adding to its dealer network.

“We increased our dealer base by more than 20% and enjoyed significant expansion of our geographical coverage during the Louisville show,” said Bob FitzSimmons, motorhome division general manager, in a press release.

Strong demand was generated by new floorplans, new styling, and continued refinement of the product. In addition, as part of a special awards night at Louisville, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) awarded Gulf Stream with a DSI “Quality Circle” award for its motorized lines.

“Many dealers are seriously considering our award-winning product lines to capitalize on the current robust growth in the Class C segment of the market,” FitzSimmons said. “Our continued focus on the reliable, powerful, economical Ford and Chevrolet chassis has enabled us to develop exciting new features and maximize living and storage space for today’s new breed of RV’ing families.”

Gulf Stream also introduced the 6220 Conquest Class C floorplan that has earned serious consideration by several rental fleets. “We had helpful input from dealers regarding the final design of the 6220, as well as features on other floorplans,” FitzSimmons said.
