After a two-year delay, the Detroit 3 say they will use a common standard to rate the towing capacities of their light-duty pickups. Automotive News reported that the standard will allow shoppers to compare accurately the towing capability of pickups. It also should reduce confusing claims from automakers. The remaining portion of the former Fleetwood RV complex in Paxino, Pa., has been purchased by the parent company of Great Dane Trailers, a well-known manufacturer that has made a number of acquisitions nationwide since celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2000.
