Sunny skies prequalified the crowd attending the Grand Puyallup RV Show, held April 30 to May 3 at the Washington State Fair Event Center/Puyallup Fairgrounds in Western Washington. MARVAC Mobilizes Against School Proposal

The Michigan legislature is considering changing the law that prevents public school districts from beginning its school year prior to Labor Day. The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC), among others, is rallying support to defeat HB 4396. “The MEA (Michigan Education Association) is pushing it because they lost 10 years ago, and they’ve lost twice since then. Winnebago Industries Inc. reported lower net income on slightly higher sales for its fiscal second quarter, ended Feb. 28. Revenues for the second quarter were $234.5 million, an increase of 2.5%, versus $228.8 million for the fiscal 2014 period. Operating income was $11.9 million for the current quarter compared to $14.0 million in the second quarter of last year.
