BUZZ: FMCA Prepares To Admit Towable Owners

In a historic decision, Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) will soon begin allowing towable RV owners to become members of a group that had been the exclusive domain of motorhome owners since its inception 53 years ago. In a membership referendum that wrapped up at the end of November, 6,820 FMCA members voted to open membership to owners of towable RVs, with 2,981 opposed. Since its inception in 1996, one of the more popular lines of supplemental brake systems for vehicles being towed behind motorhomes is the Brake Buddy by Hopkins Manufacturing Corp.
