Dealers walking the expo floor at the 2017 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo will notice more than 20 new exhibitors and will likely see two sold-out exhibit halls for the second year in a row. Registration Opens Up For ’17 Louisville Show

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) announced today (Aug. 15) that attendee registration is now open for the 2017 National RV Trade Show. SSI: Canadian Motorized Sales up 27% in June

Canadian motorhome registrations continued to surge in June, pushing overall sales to a 26.8% gain for the month and 47% year-to-date. According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader for the first six months, capturing a 41.5% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. with a 37.9% share. Lemonis: Some Gander Stores to Open in Nov.

Some of the rebranded Gander Outdoors stores will open come November, according to the company’s top executive. Guns.com reported that Camping World Inc. Trump May Ease Emission Rules For Pickups

A move under consideration by the Trump administration could ease tough fuel-efficiency standards set to take effect in 2021 on pickups, SUVs and other light truck — the bulwark of U.S. auto industry sales and profits and also key vehicles for towing. SSI: Canadian Towable Sales Gain 9% in June

Year-over-year Canadian towable sales rose 9% in June, while growing 7.7% for the first six months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI). The market gained momentum in the second quarter, posting a 10.2% increase during the three-month period. ‘Skyline Corp.’ Returns To Profitability For 4Q

Skyline Corp., a builder of manufactured housing and park model RVs, returned to profitability during its fiscal fourth quarter. Results showed:  Net sales from continuing operations of $59,462,000, an increase of 5% over net sales of $56,651,000 from continuing operations in the year ago quarter.
