SSI: Canada Towable Sales Grow 18.8% in Dec.

Canadian towable sales finished 2016 on a strong note, punctuating a 15.1% year-over-year jump in November with an 18.8% gain during December. For the full year, registrations showed a 12.2% decline compared with 2015, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI). RVT.com, an Internet classified ads site for new and used RVs for sale, reported that its RV shopper traffic has increased more than 70% in January 2017 compared with one year prior, and that RV shopper inquiries jumped 50% as well. SSI: Canadian Coach Sales Jump in December

Boosted by strong Class C sales, year-over-year Canadian motorhome registrations jumped 20.5% in December but finished 2016 down 11.1%, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).
