SSI: C’s Push Coach Sales up 12.4% For 8 Months

Class C’s continued to push overall motorhome sales through the first eight months of 2017 as overall registrations grew 12.4% compared to the same period a year ago. According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through August with a 41.7% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. Thor Industries Raises Quarterly Dividend by 12%

Thor Industries Inc. announced that its board of directors approved, at their Oct. 10 meeting, an increase in the amount of Thor’s regular quarterly dividend to 37 cents per share from 33 cents per share, an increase of 12%. SSI: Towable Sales Climb 10.5% Through August

Year-over-year towable sales continued to enjoy steady growth in 2017, posting a 10.5% gain for the first eight months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).  Results by category showed: Sales for the travel trailer segment climbed 11.8% year-to-date. Fifth-wheel registrations were up 8.6% for the eight months.
