The National Park Service has extended the comment period to Dec. 22 on its proposal to charge up to $70 to visit 17 of the country’s most popular national parks during peak months. Ford Moving Production of Electric SUV to Mexico

Ford Motor Co. is changing gears again on its production plans in Mexico, revealing it now plans to build a small electric-powered sport utility vehicle south of the border instead of at a Michigan factory, according to a report by Industry Week.  Sending the electric vehicle to Mexico, where labor costs are lower, will help the business case for the costly model. Expansion plans are in the works for Nappanee, Ind.-based Newmar Corp. following the approval of a five-year tax abatement.
