Hawaii-Based Owners Attend Winnebago Rally

If he had a dollar for each time he was asked how he brought his motorhome from Hawaii to the lower 48 states, A.J. McCann said he’d have enough to buy a brand new coach. His Winnebago motorhome, bearing license plates from Hawaii, rolled in last week to Forest City, Iowa, for the WIT Grand National Rally. Gasoline at 4-Month Low; Refineries Ramp Up

Retail gasoline slid to the lowest level in almost four months as refineries boosted production. Bloomberg reported that pump prices averaged $3.593 a gallon this week, down 4.2 cents from the previous week and the lowest since March 31, data posted on the Energy Information Administration’s website show. Gasoline was 2.4% below 2013 levels. Travelers and commuters are seeing relief at the pumps as U.S. refiners process a record amount of crude oil. Shopping for an RV at Lazydays is the focus a new reality show premiering Sunday (July  27) on the Travel Channel. FRVTA Scholarship Adds Eight New Students

The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) board at its July meeting added eight new students to the FRVTA Scholarship. According to a press release, this brings the total number of participants in the scholarship program to 26 full-time and four part-time students. The FRVTA Scholarship began in the fall of 1990 and since that time over 100 students have received an under-graduate degree with the aid of the scholarship. Wood Product Supplier Announces Expansion

Quality Hardwood Sales LLC, a manufacturer of dimensioned wood products, announced plans to expand its Indiana operations, creating up to 25 new jobs by 2016. According to a press release, the homegrown-Hoosier company will expand and equip its facility in Nappanee.
