June U.S. Retail Sales Up as Confidence Grows

U.S. retail sales posted a healthy gain in June, a sign of sturdy consumer spending this spring that should support the broader economy headed into the second half of the year. The Wall Street Journal reported that sales at retail stores and restaurants rose 0.6% in June from the prior month to a seasonally adjusted $456.98 billion, the Commerce Department said Friday. Dometic Group Reports 8% Rise in 2Q Revenue

Dometic Group reported sales for the company’s second quarter, marked by strong “organic growth.” Revenue during the period was $68.7 million, an increase of 8% including 9% organic growth, while profit totaled $53.3 million.
