SSI: Towable Sales up 17% in Nov., 16.6% YTD

Led by another strong performance in the travel trailer sector, year-over-year towable retail registrations grew 17% in November and 16.6% for the first 11 months of 2015, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI). Results by category showed: Sales for the high-volume travel trailer segment increased 21.5% for the month and 20.3% year-to-date. Skyline Corp. Enjoys Gains in 2Q Sales, Income

In the second quarter of fiscal 2016, Skyline Corp., a manufactured housing and park model builder, posted an 18% gain in revenue compared with the previous year. The Elkhart Ind.-based company reported: Net sales from continuing operations of $58.7 million, an increase of 18% over net sales of $49.6 million in the year ago quarter.
