SSI: Towable Sales Up 6.9% in June, 12.7% YTD

Year-over-year towable retail registrations gained 6.9% in June and 12.7% for the first six months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).  Results by category showed: Sales for the travel trailer segment climbed 7.7% for the month and 14.3% year-to-date. Fifth-wheel registrations were up 5.8% in June and 9.7% for the six months. Ligonier, Ind., has a labor problem. But it’s a problem some other small Indiana towns would love to wrestle with, according to a report by The Journal Gazette in Fort Wayne, Ind.
