SSI: Towable Sales Grow 5% For March, 12% YTD

Year-over-year towable retail registrations grew 5% in March and 12% for the first three months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).  Results by category showed: Sales for the travel trailer segment climbed 6.1% for the month and 14.1% year-to-date. LCI Industries Reports 18% Growth in 1Q Revenue

Elkhart, Ind.-based component supplier LCI Industries today (May 4) reported consolidated net sales in the first quarter of $498 million, 18% higher than the 2016 first quarter net sales of $423 million. Net income was $43.1 million, or $1.71 per diluted share, for the first quarter, ended March 31, compared to net income of $36 million, or $1.45 per diluted share, in the year prior. Elkhart, Ind.-based supplier Patrick Industries Inc. today (April 27) reported double-digit gains in revenue and net income for its first quarter, buoyed by performance in its RV segment. RVIA: March Shipments Record 17% YOY Increase

RVIA’s March survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finishing the first quarter of the year on a very strong note. Monthly shipments reached 47,579 units, an increase of 20.7% over the February monthly total and of 16.8% over the March 2016 tally of 40,740 units. RVIA reported that this represents the highest monthly total ever for shipments on comparable record.
