LKQ Corp. and The Coast Distribution System Inc. today (July 9) announced that they have signed a definitive agreement for LKQ to acquire Coast for $5.50 per share in cash. LKQ is parent to Keystone Automotive Operations Inc. and NTP-Stag. RVIA: Shipments Dip in May; Up 6% Year to Date

Wholesale shipments of all RVs were reported at 33,467 units in the May survey of manufacturers, 5.8% lower than a year ago. Despite the year-over-year dip, May represented the fourth consecutive month this year in which shipments topped 30,000 units. Year to date, shipments reached 168,884 units, 6% greater than this same period a year ago. Travel trailers and Class C motorhomes have improved the most gaining 8.6% and 11.4% respectively. Winnebago Reports 7.6% Rise in Revenue for 3Q

Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries Inc. today (June 25) reported an increase in net income on a 7.6% gain in sales for the company’s fiscal third quarter, ended May 30. Revenues for the third quarter were $266.5 million versus $247.7 million for the fiscal 2014 period. Operating income was $16.1 million for the current quarter compared to $15.6 million in the third quarter of last year.
