The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) will honor RV brands built by 15 manufacturers with its Quality Circle Award in Louisville, Ky, on Dec. 1, in a special 5 p.m. presentation at the Crowne Plaza Hotel just prior to the opening of the National RV Trade Show. BRS Sells ‘Airxcel’ to One Rock Capital Partners

Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. (BRS) announced today (Nov. 19) that it has sold its portfolio company Airxcel Inc. to One Rock Capital Partners. SSI: Towable Sales Gain 15% in Sept., 8.8% YTD

Retail sales of towable RVs climbed 15% in September from a year ago and 8.8% for the first nine months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. Registrations for the third quarter gained 10.3%. Startup Omega RV Moves into Former KIT Plant

Startup Omega RV LLC announced the launch of its RV manufacturing venture at the former KIT production plant in Caldwell, Idaho. According to a press release, the newly formed company has purchased the intellectual properties along with all equipment and materials. Production and office buildings on the property are under lease with an option to buy. Patrick Finalizes Acquisition of Charleston Corp.

Elkhart, Ind.-based Patrick Industries Inc. announced today (Nov. 10) that it has completed the acquisition of the business and certain assets of Charleston Corp. for approximately $9.6 million. According to a press release, Charleston is a Bremen, Ind.-based manufacturer of fiberglass and plastic components primarily used in the recreational vehicle, marine and vehicle aftermarket industries.
