SSI: Towable RV Sales Climb 9.8% Through Sept.

Year-over-year towable sales continued to outpace 2016, posting a 9.8% gain for the first nine months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).  Results by category showed: Sales for the travel trailer segment climbed 11.1% year-to-date. Fifth-wheel registrations were up 7.7% for the nine months. Camping World Reports 25% Rise in 3Q Revenue

Camping World Holdings Inc. reported a 25% increase in revenue for its third quarter, ended Sept. 30, boosted by strong performance in new vehicle sales. RV Strength Pushes LCI To 35% Gain in 3Q Sales

LCI Industries today (Nov. 2) reported consolidated net sales for the third quarter of $555 million, 35% higher than the 2016 third quarter net sales of $412 million. Net income was $32.1 million, or $1.26 per diluted share, for the third quarter, ended Sept. 30, compared to net income of $29.8 million, or $1.19 per diluted share, a year ago. Patrick Completes Indiana Transport Acquisition

Lazydays R.V. Center Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Adina Acquisition Corp. II, a “special purpose acquisition company,” according to an Oct. 27 release. RV Surge Boosts Patrick To 34% Rise in 3Q Sales

Elkhart, Ind.-based supplier Patrick Industries Inc. reported a 34% year-over-year increase in sales during its third quarter, ended Sept. 24. Revenue during the period rose to $407.5 million from $304.2 million in the same quarter of 2016. The increase was attributable to industry growth, acquisitions, geographic expansion efforts, and market share gains. RVIA: September Shipments Retain Record Pace

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) September survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 43,598 units, an increase of 29.4% over the 33,704 units shipped last September. September 2017 shipments are the best September on comparable record. RV wholesale shipments have climbed to 378,006 units through nine months of 2017, up 16.6% over the 324,286 units shipped during the same period last year. The first round of re-branded Gander Mountain stores will open early next year, according to federal regulatory filings. Towable Growth Drives Winnebago’s Gains in 4Q

Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries Inc. reported a 72.8% increase in revenues for its fiscal fourth quarter, ended Aug. 26, lifted by sales from the company’s Grand Design RV Co. division. Revenues for the fourth quarter totaled $454.9 million compared to $263.3 million for the fiscal 2016 period.
