Scott Nelson Dometic Group announced the appointment of Scott Nelson as regional president of Americas, effective Dec. 1. Scott succeeds Frank Marciano, who will retire after more than 25 years of service with Dometic. Camping World Acquires Minn.-Based Quality RV

Camping World Holdings Inc. announced today (Oct. 27) the acquisition of Quality RV in Monticello, Minn., according to a news release. Patrick 3Q Income Up 34% on Strong RV Revenue

Patrick Industries Inc. today (Oct. 26) reported that net income increased 34% for its third quarter, ended Sept. 25, boosted by strong performance in its RV segment. Net income in the third quarter totaled $12 million compared with $9 million in the third quarter of 2015, while net income per diluted share increased 36% to 79 cents from 58 cents. Patrick reported operating income of $20.1 million, an increase of 32% from $15.2 million reported in the third quarter of 2015. RVIA: Sept. Shipments Best in Nearly 4 Decades

Deliveries to retailers of all RVs were reported at 33,704 units in the September survey of manufacturers, 20.5% greater than this same month last year. This was the best September total in nearly four decades with significant gains recorded in all towable RVs and Class B motorhomes. Seasonally adjusted, shipments in the month of September were at an annualized rate of more than 420,000 units, considerably above industry forecasts. Towables Boost Winnebago 4Q; Income up 13.1%

Winnebago Industries Inc. posted a 13.1% increase in net income for its fiscal fourth quarter, boosted by strong performance in its towable division. The report came  less than two weeks after the Forest City, Iowa-based builder announced it had signed a purchase agreement to acquire Grand Design RV Co., a leading towable manufacturer in Middlebury, Ind. SSI: Towable Sales Rise 2.9% in Aug., 11.4% YTD

Year-over-year towable retail registrations edged up 2.9% in August while posting an 11.4% gain for the first eight months. For the second straight month, travel trailers were the only segment to post an increase in sales. According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. The largest U.S. recreational vehicle dealer, Camping World Holdings Inc., said it raised $251 million in an initial public offering of 11,363,636 shares of its Class A common stock on Thursday (Oct. 6).
