Thor Posts Record Sales of $7.25B for Fiscal Year

Thor Industries Inc. reported record fourth-quarter net income of $119.5 million, or $2.26 per diluted share, compared with 82.8 million in the year ago period. The Elkhart, Ind,-based company also posted record fourth-quarter revenues of $1.93 billion representing a 49.7% increase over the same period a year ago. RVIA: August RV Shipments are Best on Record

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) August survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 45,031 units, an increase of 25.3% over the 35,946 units shipped last August.  August 2017 shipments are the best August on comparable record. RV wholesale shipments have climbed to 334,408 units through eight months of 2017, up 15.1% over the 290,582 units shipped during the same period last year.
