SSI: February Motorhome Sales Increase 7.3%

February motorhome retail registrations rose 7.3% compared to the same period a year ago while sales for the first two months were up 6.7%. According to the latest report by Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through February with a 27.3% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. with a 23.2% share and Winnebago Industries Inc. owning a 19.4% share. Coast Reports 12.3% Revenue Gain During 4Q

Aftermarket supplier Coast Distribution System Inc. reported a 12.3% increase in sales for its fourth quarter, ended Dec. 31, 2014, while revenue for the full year was up 4.3%. Net sales for the 2014 fourth quarter increased to $22.3 million compared to net sales of $19.9 million in the 2013 fourth quarter.  Coast said that the sales increase was primarily a result of continuing improvement in market conditions in the RV industry, highlighted by increased shipments of RVs, growing acceptance... Read more
