EverGreen’s Stealth Trailer will be donated to support WillPower Campaign Will Mishler is a 15-year-old student at Northridge High School in Middlebury, Ind. In September 2012, he suffered a football injury that resulted in a doctor visit. He was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare form of nerve cancer. SSI: Towable Sales Up 1.2% in May, 5% YTD

Extending a yearlong trend, retail towable sales remained flat in May, up 1.2%, and showed a 4.9% gain for the first five months. According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc., results showed: • Sales for the high-volume travel trailer sector grew 2.5% for the month and 7.1% year-to-date. • Fifth-wheel registrations dipped 0.4% in May, but were up 0.9% for the five months. • Folding camping trailer sales were down 8% for the month and 5.8% through May. • Recreational park... Read more

RV Transportation Issue Improves in Elkhart

Three months ago this week, recreational vehicle industry leaders gathered at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Ind., to discuss a serious problem. As reported by the Elkhart Truth, approximately 25,000 to 35,000 finished RVs were parked around the area, awaiting transport to dealerships throughout the country, but an estimated 2,000 new drivers were needed to move them. It’s a small office just off County Road 17 in Elkhart, Ind. But over time, it could have a major impact.
