Promoters of the upcoming 35th Annual Arkansas RV Show aren’t going to let a little snow keep them from having a successful show.
The event runs Friday (Feb. 11) through Sunday at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
A major snowstorm is hitting the state today, dumping heavy snow and freezing rain over the Little Rock area and as much as 17 inches in the northwest part of the state. But show promoter Ken Griffey said dealers were setting displays today and and the show is going on as planned.
Sunny and very cold weather then moves in for Thursday and Friday, but a big warming trend is headed to Little Rock for the weekend with temperatures ranging from the low 50s on Saturday to high 50s on Sunday.
This show presents a rare opportunity to see many recreational vehicles under one roof without the hassle of driving from RV dealer to RV dealer, Griffey noted in a news release.
