RV enthusiasts turned out in high numbers at the 44th Annual New Jersey RV and Camping Show, sponsored by DISH Network and Affinity Events, in Edison this past weekend.
Attendees had the opportunity to see 2011 Class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, folding campers, park models and more from leading dealers in the region, according to a news release.
According to Show Manager Harry Lutz, “The show was a tremendous success. Attendance was solid, even with the frigid temperatures and Jet’s playoff game, and many dealers reported strong sales. Motorized sales did especially well, hopefully indicating a sign that these sales will continue to increase this season.”
Tom Robson, sales manager at Hitch RV, agreed, “The show was great with a lot of traffic and good flow. The quality of the customer was better than last year with many people coming to the show ready to spend money.”
Dean Hamilton of Dylans RV concurred, “The attendee traffic was great and we received several good leads with new customers. It was definitely worthwhile to be an exhibitor at this show!”
Leading RV expert and author of “The RV Handbook,” Dave Solberg, taught multiple seminars throughout the show and was on hand to answer any questions from attendees. Jeff Haughton, vice president/regional manager, commented, “This was the first time we had seminars at the New Jersey Show and they were well attended and well received.”
