Alde Corp., a supplier of hydronic heating and hot water systems for RVs, is displaying product at this week’s Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa.
“Alde’s heating system will revolutionize life for Americans who love camping. It provides an agreeable indoor heat for the first time, and systems that are very quiet,” said Ken Elwell, president of Alde Corp., in a press release.
First developed in the 1950s, Swedish-based Alde’s heating systems have become a standard in European motorhomes and trailers. Through its Alde Corp. subsidiary in Washington State, the company is now marketing its heating systems to the American RV sector. Alde reported that Roadtrek Motorhomes Inc. has already incorporated the product for its line of Class B motorhomes, and several more prominent manufacturers are launching models in 2014.
“Here in the U.S. and Canada, the heating products have not changed or developed for many years,” Elwell said. “So when we present Alde’s heating systems at trade shows we are met with a lot of enthusiasm because we are introducing a completely new product that is small, compact, energy efficient, and that provides natural air humidity.”
