Keystone’s Alpine 5th-Wheel Like A Luxury Home

November 24, 2009 by · 1 Comment

AL_exteriorAKeystone RV is introducing its all-new Alpine fifth-wheel, designed to be more like a luxury home than a camper. One of the many innovations incorporated into the new Alpine is the Whisper Return air system. Whisper Air operates more like a modern residential ducted HVAC system than an RV air‐conditioner and delivers a more comfortable living environment while providing both heating and cooling, according to a news release. Another Alpine next level feature is the Gold Key security convenience package with keyless entry, outside motion detector exterior lighting, automatic door lighting and optional security alarm. Additional features include triple insulation in the floor and ceiling, heated basement and holding tanks, high gloss gel‐coat sidewalls, entry door and bus‐style baggage doors, as well as real cherry hardwood cabinetry and the Ultimate Kitchen with sealed‐burner range, Corian countertops and microwave‐convection oven. Alpine’s distinctive full‐wrap graphics clearly set the coach apart. “This is the same graphic technology used on large commercial buses and by NASCAR. The look is distinctive yet tasteful and speaks to the innovation of the product line,” said Ryan Juday, Alpine division general manager. Alpine will be offered in six floorplans, lengths from 33 to 39‐feet. MSRP is $63,000 to $69,000.
