American Coach is unveiling several exciting model year 2015 updates at the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FMCA) Motorhome Showcase that opened today (March 17) and runs through Thursday at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Ga.
According to a press release, attendees will have an opportunity to see everything from new technologies to new interior décors, power options and features from the Decatur, Ind.-based luxury Class A diesel motorhome builder, a division of Fleetwood RV Inc.
Partnering with industry-leading technology manufacturers for the 2015 lineup, the company is showing an American Eagle 45A floorplan featuring the same A/V technologies that were launched at the Louisville Show, including the Sony 4K Ultra High Definition TV – a first in the RV industry – as well as a JBL custom audio package, digitally optimized for the American Eagle cockpit. In addition, the 2015 American Eagle is available with the most powerful engine available — the 600-hp Cummins ISX15.
The American Revolution, American Tradition and American Eagle is debuting new interior décors for 2015 in Perry, while the entire lineup offers all-new exterior graphics and color choices. Other features added to all American Coach models include flowing galley countertop upgrades that include spice shelves with a polished finish, and upgraded entry step-well materials that have a synthetic grass-cloth step-tread.
The 2015 American Revolution is now available with GoldHeat electric floor heat through the entire coach as well as power shades and blinds. A new designer backsplash with integrated LED accent lighting adds to the ambiance inside the 2015 American Tradition.
“American Coach continually incorporates new technologies, design features and décors throughout its entire model line to keep each product fresh and on the cutting-edge of the industry,” said John Lowry, COO at American Coach. “Our 2015 products are a reflection of that ongoing drive.”
American Coach, a division of Allied Recreation Group, unveiled several new technologies in home entertainment at this week’s 51st Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., hosted by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
According to a press release, the electronics will be featured on the new American Eagle 45A floorplan, which includes opposing sofas for more comfortable entertaining. A bath and a half, large full-tile spa shower and full-length rear wardrobe add to the comfort and convenience of the American Eagle 45A, which has a base MSRP of $621,000.
American Coach said it is the first manufacturer to offer a Sony 4K Ultra High Definition TV. Sony 4K Ultra technology provides a resolution that is four times clearer than HD and is comparable to “combining the resolution of four HDTVs into one.” Owners will see a wider range of colors with Sony’s Triluminos Display, and TV programs will be upscaled to 4K quality.
A 55-inch version of the TV is installed in a quiet-lift cabinet with custom surround cabinetry for a premium look. Combined with a Sony 7.1 home theatre using Bose speakers, the 4K Ultra High Definition TV creates a movie theater-quality entertainment experience.
American Coach has also partnered with JBL by Harman to create a high-tech custom audio package for the cockpit of the American Eagle. The JBL system is engineered exclusively for the American Eagle, providing a custom-tailored and digitally optimized audio solution that delivers a superior listening experience, the company said.
“American Coach is known for its leading innovation, technology and distinction in the industry,” stated Kyle McCrary, senior vice president, product planning and design at American Coach. “Partnering with Sony and JBL was a natural fit for the American Coach brand. We remain committed to incorporating advanced technology and highly innovative designs into our products.”
