Githens’ RV Travel Website Adds Product Blog

October 22, 2009 by · 1 Comment

Judith Githens, founder of BestRVTraveling.com, created an online business to distribute essential equipment and supplies to accommodate other voyagers whose homes are on wheels. Bedding, pet products, kitchen supplies and recipes are just the beginning of the merchandise available on her  websit, according to a press release. She also provides travelers with helpful information about RV campsites as well as national and state parks.

Consumers encouraged to visit the website’s most recent addition, www.RVAccessoriesInfo.com, which is a blog that features general product information and reviews as well as expert tips on safe and successful RV traveling.

Githens has a background in computers, though no amount of data crunching could have calculated the adventures she would experience in her post-retirement years. She purchased her very own home-away-from-home – a sleek and cozy RV – in 2006 and has since taken many exhilarating trips across the country, her favorite being a journey to Washington state.

In an effort to earn a little extra cash while on her road trips, Githens transformed her newly found passion for RV traveling into a successful online business in June 2008. She has created a platform for mobile-home voyagers to stock up on supplies that have been handpicked by an experienced on-the-road traveler. Links to information regarding the best RV campsites, state parks and national parks are also available on her website.

Although Githens has carefully selected every item sold at BestRVTraveling.com, there are a few favorites she highly recommends:

  • Sewer Solution will save campers from the smelly mess and hassle that usually accompanies pumping gray and black water.
  • Campfires are great to relax around at night, but nobody wants to wait to cook their food until they can be built. A Weber Q Gas Grill provides a hybrid solution that is easy to use and clean, so burgers, hot dogs and trout can be cooked within minutes.
  • And for those who need a cup of java morning, noon or night, the Space Saver Coffeemaker has a lock-in-place design to keep the pot from shifting around while the RV is in motion. It’s guaranteed to brew 10 cups of coffee in just seven minutes.

Githens’ has been to every state except for Hawaii and Kentucky and has visited more than 50 countries. Her knowledgebase about RV-voyaging will only continue to as she plans to become a full-time traveler in the near future.
