MCD RV Center in Cape Cod, Mass., has added Bigfoot RV travel trailers and truck campers top its lineup, according to a press release.
“We’re excited to bring Bigfoot travel trailers and truck campers to our dealership,” said Debra Lowry, general sales manager. “After weeks of research, talking with dealers and talking with owners, Bigfoot RV is exactly what we were looking for – a quality built, year-round camper with very low maintenance. After 30 years of selling and servicing campers it’s nice to know this kind of camper is available for our customers. “
Bigfoot RV units are built like a boat with two molded fiberglass shells and made for four-season camping with high-density insulation, thermopane windows and heated and enclosed tanks. Bigfoot truck campers are available in nine floor plans with long- and short-box models while the company offers seven travel trailer floorplans ranging in length from 17-25 feet. The builder noted that it received Trailer Life’s Readers’ Choice Award for 2013.
“Adding MCD RV Center as a partner in our dealer network will benefit everyone,” said Grant Bilodeau, president of Armstrong, British Columbia-based Bigfoot RV. “We’re looking for a few more select dealers to represent Bigfoot as we expand across the U.S.”

Bigfoot Industries (2010) Inc. announced on Jan. 25 that it is now under new active ownership and will soon begin production of travel trailers and truck campers at a facility in Armstrong, British Columbia.
According to a website posting, the company stated, “Our experienced Bigfoot staff and management are preparing to supply our Bigfoot products to the North American market in the very near future. In addition, we will make the supply of fiberglass parts for existing Bigfoot RVs a priority, as we realize that this has been a difficulty for current Bigfoot owners and service centers. To further support our network of current Bigfoot owners, our experienced service staff will also be available to service existing Bigfoot RVs.
“We sincerely appreciate all of the interest expressed by our loyal Bigfoot owners and customers in having our carefully designed, well-built products available once again. We assure you that we share in your desire to have Bigfoot RVs continue in the tradition of providing recreational vehicles of the highest caliber to our dedicated and discriminating customers.”
The posting said the company is seeking to establish authorized distributors in both the U.S. and Canada and will provide further information regarding our operations and product availability in the coming days.
