Quality Drive-Away Inc., headquartered in Goshen, Ind., announced that it has been named a winner of the 2011 Global Supplier Of the Year award by Blue Bird Corp., according to a press release. Fort Valley, Ga.-based Blue Bird manufacturers and supplies Type A, C and D school buses to over 60 countries around the globe.
Trey Jenkins, vice president of purchasing and supplier quality for the motorhome delivery company, said six winners out of Blue Bird’s total supply base were selected to receive this prestigious award based on their “superior performance related to cost, quality, delivery and technology.”
Devon Bechtel, president of Quality Drive-Away, noted, “This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all our people and that as a service based company we must provide the best possible customer service available if we want to stay in business.” Bechtel added that a big part of the company’s success is due to the independent contract drivers who work hard to insure we meet our customers’ expectations.
