Fire destroyed three RVs and damaged two others Wednesday at Cactus Country RV Resort in Tucson, Ariz., Corona de Tucson Fire Department spokesman Todd Cupell said.

Initial reports indicated that it will be ruled an accidental fire, Cupell said.

Reports stated there were people working on the engine of one of the motorhomes before the fire started. They had fire extinguishers on standby, but they weren’t enough.

The first fire engine had 500 gallons of water, but ran out. Crews waited three to four minutes for a water tender to replenish the water supply.

The fire spread rapidly due to the wind, according to Cupell.
