Victoria, British Columbia-based Carmanah Technologies Corp. announced that its Solar Power Systems division has received an initial stocking order from Keystone Automotive Operations Inc. for its proprietary Go Power! mobile power product line. This major U.S. automotive equipment distributor is stocking Go Power! products in preparation for the 2011 RV season.

Keystone Automotive Operations, based in Exeter, Penn., is the leading distributor and marketer of specialty automotive equipment and accessories in North America. Recently, the company expanded to include RV, towing and lifestyle products and now features Carmanah as their solar RV provider.

We chose to invest in Carmanah because of their proven performance, customer service and ability to provide the necessary inventory for our growing market.”

Carmanah’s Go Power! products range from solar charging kits to pure sine wave inverters and can be installed on RVs, trailers and fleet utility vehicles for applications ranging from simple battery maintenance to full-time live aboard power.

Ted Lattimore, Carmanah CEO, said, “We are pleased to have this new channel relationship in place, and anticipate that it will significantly strengthen the Company’s leadership position in US and Canadian mobile solar power markets.”

Carmanah recently attended Keystone’s annual Big Show tradeshow and conference in New Jersey and is undergoing solar product training seminars for Keystone’s new RV department in Ontario, Canada.
