New Horizons RV has completed its factory training on the RV Comfort Systems UL certified and Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) compliant CheapHeat hybrid furnace system. According to a press release, the Junction City, Kan.-based builder will now be offering the system on all of its new luxury, four-season fifth-wheels.
“With the CheapHeat Hybrid furnace system, the customer will have the choice of selecting either gas or electric as a heating source for their forced air heating system with the simple flip of a switch, conveniently located in the RV living area,” said Larry McGaugh of RV Comfort System LLC.
Now that all New Horizons technicians are factory certified, the company will be able to offer this system as a factory update on the existing New Horizons fifth-wheels, said McGaugh.
Phil Brokenicky owner and CEO of New Horizons RV noted, “I have had many RVers asking for electric heat as an alternative to gas when hooked up to shore power. I am delighted that we are now able to offer the RV enthusiast this innovative system.”
