Clem’s RV & Trailer Sales Inc., Ellwood City, Pa., recently announced that the dealership is expanding for the first time in its 49-year history. The new store, to be located just north of Fredericksburg, Va., on two-plus acres off I-95, has an anticipated opening of Sept. 3, 2014, for service and parts and a grand opening slated for late September.
The new subsidiary company will be co-owned by Steve Deffenbaugh and Randy Giancola and do business as Clem’s RV & Trailer Sales of Virginia. According to a news release, the new site “will continue the tradition and values laid by Clem Giancola, the company’s founder, who passed away last December.” Randy Giancola, Clem’s son, and Deffenbaugh also serve as president and general manager, respectively, for the parent company.
“Over the past three years we have seen tremendous growth since the addition of Steve Deffenbaugh as general manager, almost tripling our business,” said Giancola. “Steve and I have had plans now for well over a year now to expand on that success and go into business together and take what my parents started with a few trailers and a dream to where we are now ready to expand into a different market. We feel now is the time and Virginia is the place.”
Diffenbaugh noted, “There is not a person or family I could have ever asked for a better opportunity to partner up with than the Giancola family. We considered several other locations but with my professional experience working in Virginia and knowledge of the Virginia marketplace, we felt this was a good fit with our plans for expansion at Clem’s.”
Clem’s RV & Trailer Sales of Virginia will be a full-service facility offering, new and used RV sales, service and all types of accessories for the camping enthusiast. Currently, Clem’s is accepting applications for several positions including technicians, parts and sales. Resumes can be sent via e-mail to email@example.com
