Being off the grid doesn’t mean RVers have to be powerless. The Powerhouse PH 4000Ri/E Inverter Generator puts out 4,000 watts of clean power, enough to run a 15,000 Btu air conditioner, lights, refrigerator and coffeemaker, or several power tools all at the same time.
According to a press release, the PH4000Ri/E is the first Powerhouse portable generator with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), which gives it a number of very useful advantages including excellent cold weather starting and hot restarts. EFI produces superior horsepower and improves performance at high altitude. Other EFI advantages of the PH4000 include a self-priming fuel system, exceptional fuel economy and cleaner emissions.
The PH4000 has an electric starter with a large battery, which also eases cold weather starting. The included remote control starts or stops the generator from up to 75 feet away.
Powerhouse inverter technology delivers clean, clear power that won’t damage sensitive electronics like laptops, flat screen TVs and game consoles. An onboard digital screen displays voltage, amperage, wattage, fuel level and information from the self-contained diagnostic system.
Quiet enough to meet National Park Service guidelines for campground use, the PH4000 also meets the most stringent air quality standards throughout North America with CARB, EPA and CSA certifications.
The PH4000 features telescoping wheelbarrow style handles and pneumatic tires for easier handling and smooth movement even on rough terrain.

Coast Distribution and Purple Line announced they will join forces to introduce the advantages of Purple Line Trailer Mover products to towable RV enthusiasts throughout North America. According to a press release, the relationship ensures that RV dealers in North America will have immediate access to Purple Line’s Trailer Mover motor systems and trailer upgrade products.
The agreement appoints Coast as the exclusive distributor of Purple Line products in North America. Coast will partner with Purple Line to develop marketing and training programs for dealers.
”We are excited to be Purple Line’s partner in North America,” says Jim Musbach, Coast CEO. “They have developed a highly innovative product that owners of RV towables will love. It is a terrific compliment to our product assortment, and Coast will be a highly effective marketing and distribution resource for their company.”
Purple Line’s array of Trailer Movers equip a conventional trailer with remote controlled motors to easily move the trailer for hitching, parking and leveling without the aid of a tow vehicle. The operator can easily maneuver the trailer while walking around it to check clearances and position with the simple touch of the buttons on the wireless remote control unit.
“This innovative product could become as common on trailers as power windows are on an automobile,” says Paul Liner, Managing Director of Purple Line. ” The product has earned considerable share in Europe and Australia, where our customers often purchase a trailer remote mover system with a specific parking situation in mind and are surprised to find how much more flexible life with their trailer has become in terms of parking, hitching and setting up.”
Dealers can order Purple Line products from Coast Distribution effectively immediately.
