CornerStone United Inc., a 36-year veteran provider of service contracts and F&I products, has announced a new program for RV dealers faced with marketing and selling units without factory warranties.
The Hickory, N.C.-based company will help dealers eliminate these potential problems through its newly launched RV Limited Warranty program designed to cover those items that are now not covered by the manufacturer. In addition to the lack of a factory warranty and its potential negative impact on sales, dealers may face a decrease in unit value and the inability to sell extended warranty coverage to customers without a valid factory warranty, according to a company release.
By filling the warranty void caused by the defunct manufacturers, CornerStone dealers can now enhance the value of their units, protect customers and themselves from the costly repairs that the warranty coverage will provide and protect F&I profit by retaining their ability to effectively sell longer-term extended warranty protection.
