Country Coach Friends Inc., an international chapter of Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), recently donated $6,095 to two local charities during the organization’s 2013 Friendship Rally in Albany, Ore.
According to a press release, the funds were presented to the Junction City Local Aid and God’s Storehouse in Harrisburg. Country Coach Inc. was headquartered in Junction City where it manufactured its line of high-end Class A motorhomes.
“It was a real pleasure to give back to the community where Country Coachers have so many motorcoaching memories,” said Chapter President Jerry O’Connor.
Earlier this year at the Spring Rally in Kerrville, Texas, Country Coach Friends awarded $12,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network.
On Oct. 8-12 the club is rallying in Calistoga, Calif., at the Country Coach Friends Wine Harvest Rally where Wounded Warriors is expected to receive a significant charitable donation. In 2014 rallies are scheduled in Breaux Bridge, La., and Albany. For more information click here.
Junction City, Ore.-based Premier RV Services announced its sponsorship of the Aug. 21-25 3rd Annual 2013 Country Coach Friendship Rally at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center in Albany, Ore.
“Premier is pleased to be a major financial sponsor of this annual Country Coach Friends Inc. club event,” said Louie Courtemanche, co-owner of Premier RV Services, which sells preowned Country Coach motorhomes in the U.S. along with other high-line motorcoaches. The company also provides full service of all brands of RVs (specializing in Country Coach), and indoor, secured RV and boat storage.
According to a press release, the company will display motorhomes and present technical seminars at the rally. A lunch and tour of Premier RV Services’ sales, service and storage divisions located in several buildings on 20 acres of the former Country Coach LLC manufacturing campus in Junction City will take place during the rally. A service discount will be offered to Country Coach Friends Inc. (CCFI) members scheduling service before, during and after the rally.
Club President Jerry OConnor noted, “Louie and Gary (Obermire) have been good friends to Country Coach motorcoach owners for a couple decades now and we certainly appreciate the strong sponsorship role Premier RV Services has taken with this fast growing Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) international chapter. The annual Friendship Rally, like all CCFI rallies, has a full schedule of seminars, activities, classes, vendor exhibits, and entertainment planned. Country Coach Friends Inc., an International chapter of Family Motor Coach Association, held their Spring Rally at Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville, Texas May 14-19.
According to a press release, in addition to the slate of activities and entertainment, the group also held an auction to benefit the ill children served by the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, the Children’s Miracle Network hospital in the area.
The Children’s Miracle Network saw 150,000 children last year with 250 of these children coming from Kerrville. In total $12,000 was raised during the Country Coach Friends gathering from nine states to help the hospital in their efforts to bring hope and healing for the children and families throughout south and central Texas.
The event was organized by organized by rally hosts David Twilley and his wife, Jean, as well as club president Jerry OConnor and his wife, Sherry.
