Big Rig RV Rally Added to ‘Country Thunder’

Coming this April for the first time in its long history, Country Thunder in Florence, Ariz., has partnered with and added a Big Rig Rally to its country music festival.

This annual four-day, two-stage festival features some of country music’s biggest names and brightest stars including Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, Neal McCoy, The Bellamy Brothers and The JaneDear Girls, according to a news release.

The Big Rig Rally includes some extras not available in the regular Country Thunder dry camping experience. The spaces are 25 feet by 45 feet to allow tow vehicle parking, and 50-amp connections are available to all rally registrants. The Big Rig area is completely fenced and secured, with a separate RV entrance from the general public, as well as a private concert venue entrance. The rally also includes private Skybox seating to enjoy the live country music, a Welcome Reception and breakfast and lunch served daily.

Check-in begins April 6 with check-out on April 11. is a Southern Arizona company putting a spin on RV rallies and events, keeping some of the “norms” expected at an RV rally, but putting them in places not so normal.
