Crane Composites Inc., a manufacturer of fiberglass sidewall finishes for recreational vehicles, is increasing production from four to five crews in its Goshen, Ind., and Jonesboro, Ark., manufacturing facilities.
According to a press release, the addition of a crew to each plant will add 30 jobs in Indiana and 20 jobs in Arkansas. The Goshen with 205 current employees, produces high gloss sheet glass panels while the Jonesboro plant, with 120 current employees, produces smooth coilable fiberglass panels for the exterior of motorized and towable RVs.
“As the RV market continues to grow and the demand for our RV products increases, we have made a decision to enhance our production capacity in both of our RV facilities,” said Jack Stambaugh, vice president of RV products. “Crane takes great pride in producing and supplying the RV industry with 100% American-made fiberglass, manufactured on American-made machines right here in the heartland of the U.S.”
Crane Composites said it is an active member in the local communities. In the past, donations have been made to the local YMCA, Red Cross, United Way and Salvation Army. Sponsorships include the Elkhart County Fair and Local 4H chapters.
