Elkhart, Ind.-based supplier Atwood Mobile Products LLC has partnered with Echo RV to supply refrigerators and air conditioners for the company’s travel trailer lines.
“These new products provide unique benefits for the Echo RV sales team and dealers to take to the market,” said Bill Martin, director of OEM sales for Atwood, in a press release. “We are excited that Echo RV has elected to equip their travel trailers with Atwood components and the distinct features they offer.”
Atwood helium refrigerators feature class-leading storage capacity of 7- and 8-cubic feet. Equipped with helium in place of hydrogen, Atwood said the refrigerators offer safe and efficient performance. The company’s air conditioners offer durability higher efficiency with 16K and 18K Btu equivalent ratings.
Elkhart, Ind.-based builder Echo RV LLC announced that TCF Inventory Finance Inc. (TCFIF) has been approved as a floorplan finance provider in the United States and Canada.

Targeting the entry-level toy hauler market, Echo RV Inc. introduced the wood-and-aluminum 280APH floorplan in its Bandit line at Louisville offering a 3,000-pound capacity ramp door and a 12-foot deep garage area. Sporting a dual axle platform with a 10,400-pound GVWR, the unit is capable of bearing 5,000 pounds in the garage while still maintaining a 5,500-pound dry weight for towability. “We even added metal strips that span the garage so we can set our D-rings with self-tapping screws,” said President Mike Scheetz, noting the rings have a 2,500-pound rating. “Our niche is to offer features not found on other entry-level units but still hit that killer price point.” Equipped with a full kitchen and 13,500 Btu ACs, the 280APH provides a comfortable living area with neo-angle showers, a 76-inch sofa, porcelain foot-flush toilet and 60-inch by 74-inch queen bed. Elkhart, Ind.-based Echo RV LLC announced it has finalized plans to display its North Bay travel trailers and Bandit toy haulers as part of the upcoming National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky. Echo RV will be located in booth No. 5011 in the West Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center next to Keystone RV Co.
According to a press release, Echo RV plans to display some of its newest travel trailer and toy hauler floorplans while providing dealer prospects with information on a new 19- and 25-foot toy hauler featuring a fixed queen bed and weighing less than 5,000 pounds that will retail just under $17,000. “These two new Bandit toy hauler floorplans should be available for production in early to mid-January in order to make it into most of the retail RV shows,” said Product manager Kevin McMahon.

Elkhart, Ind.-based Echo RV LLC announced an expansion its line of North Bay travel trailers to include deep slide floorplans, according to a press release.
“We developed the North Bay DS as an extension of our current line, the North Bay Lite, which has been very successful with current dealers,” said product manager Kevin McMahon. “Our belief is the North Bay DS offers RV dealers a great value in comparison to similar products they stock but, without the margin pressure they typically experience from other products due to market saturation, cloning, or Internet discounting.”
Previously only available in non-slide or shallow slide floorplans, the North Bay DS adds six models boasting 42-inch single- and double-sliderooms. New floorplans include family friendly triple- and quad-bunk beds, an eat-and-run dinette in the bunk room and optional outside kitchen. The other three layouts cater to empty nesters who value large bathrooms, spacious kitchens and plenty of storage.
Both series of the North Bay products are available in aluminum or fiberglass exterior and offer a modern appearance along with a long list of standard equipment.

Elkhart, Ind.-based Echo Manufacturing LLC, a builder of lightweight travel trailers and toy haulers, announced the appointment of Charlie Phillips as national sales manager.
According to a press release, Phillips has more than 20 years experience in both wholesale and retail, most recently in the Midwest with a major manufacturer.

As part of the Elkhart County Fourth Annual RV Open Houses, Echo RV, celebrating its first anniversary, will be hosting its product display Sept. 19 to 23 at its manufacturing facility at 21888 Beck Drive, off County Road 17 east of Elkhart.
The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
“We are excited with the opportunity to get our products in front of the dealers for the first time,” said Mike Scheetz, Echo RV president. Our display and factory are in such close proximity to the major manufacturers it will be an easy stop for that dealer that’s looking for a small company they can partner with.”
Echo will be showing its Bandit toy hauler line and its American Spirit travel trailer line during the open house.
