“We look for business partners that foster mutual growth and success in the market,” stated Martin Street, CEO of Stag-Parkway. “We are extremely fortunate to have wonderful supplier partners and recognizing those companies that exceed our expectations is always a challenge. At the end of the day, we select companies that deliver programs, strategies and products in such a way that you can sell more and sell it more profitably.”

Progress Manufacturing was also recognized in 2012 and 2013, “for exhibiting exceptional customer service, providing superior sales and training support and for being basically really good people to work with,” Street continued.

“This kind of effort and focus gets results,” added Street. “Our three year sales history is evidence of that – 2010 up 15%, 2011 up 26%, and 2012 up 20%. Well, Equal-i-zer sales were up 29% in 2013. Equal-i-zer Hitch Takes Gold in Readers’ Choice

December 11, 2013 by · Leave a Comment

Progress Manufacturing Inc. announced that the Equal-i-zer Hitch was named by Trailer Life Magazine as the Gold Winner in its Readers’ Choice Awards for the second consecutive year, according to a press release.

Sue Seidlitz of Trailer Life said there were 15,000 voters weighing-in on all things related to trailers, campgrounds, hitches and trailer accessories. Trailer Life launched the Readers’ Choice Awards in 2012 to learn more about their readers and what they value, as well as to find out which vehicles, destinations and products make life on the road easier and more enjoyable for RVers.

The survey was conducted online and allowed thousands of readers to choose from over a hundred brands, voting for their top picks in 26 different categories. Equal-i-zer Hitch is the only trailer hitch company to win the Gold award.

“Winning this award two years in-a-row is a testament to American manufacturing,” said Progress CEO Jed Anderson. “We are the only sway-control trailer hitch with 100% of the manufacturing taking place in the United States. In a time where just about everything is outsourced and companies are more concerned about profits than quality, we are proud our hitch is American-made.”

Kenny Mauerman, the director of engineering for Equal-i-zer, added, “We believe this is the reason why our hitch performs so well. From the highest-quality American-made steel, to the best technology, Equal-i-zer has been proven to be the industry leader.”
