EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC has rolled out its 2015 lineup of Sun Valley travel trailers, featuring a bold new exterior look, a redesigned front cap and completely repackaged with more standard equipment at a more affordable price.

According to a press release, Sun Valley trailers are available in 12 floorplans, ranging in length from 23 to 36 feet, and are designed to be lightweight and easy to tow with a half-ton pickup or SUV.

The variety of floorplans include:

• Bunkhouse models that can sleep eight or more campers comfortably. Deep slide models feature 42-inch slides that house a lounge, dinette or both, creating the space for entertaining. An optional freestanding dinette allows further seating flexibility. The party can even travel outside with outdoor kitchens or grills offered on many floorplans.

• Kitchen island floorplans that include a full-sized kitchen sink, sturdy screwed-and-glued cabinetry and ball bearing drawer guides that won’t warp or stick. A full-sized double-door refrigerator/freezer can hold enough food for large gatherings. The mid-kitchen floorplan also has a large, roomy lounge opposite the kitchen, great for entertaining, playing games or just relaxing.

• The Sun Valley line boasts several models designed for families with young children. Some models feature a separate bathroom entrance that allows kids or guests to use the facilities.

• All Sun Valley floorplans have plenty of overhead, pantry, and under bed storage. New, pullout, under dinette storage bins increase storage space.

The 2015 Sun Valley line features three distinct décor options. New for 2015 are Espresso and Caramel décor choices with rich, chocolate brown tones and eye-catching patterns. Linen décor is a popular fabric choice from last year, with light tones that are easy to clean.

Optional packages allow more freedom to customize the camping experience. The Sun Valley Convenience Package includes a 32-inch living room TV, fireplace and outside grill. With the Reserve Package the kitchen gets an upgrade with solid surface countertops and an eight-cubic-foot refrigerator. A tri-fold sofa and 15 Btu A/C also make entertaining more comfortable. The Premium Reserve Package combines both packages for the ultimate in camping comfort.

EverGreen RV Names New Fifth-Wheel Division

January 9, 2012 by · 3 Comments

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, Middlebury, Ind., announced the name of its much-anticipated high-end fifth wheel division: Lifestyle Luxury Resort Vehicles.

This stand-alone division is housed in a separate 100,000-square-foot facility recently purchased in Middlebury. According to National Sales Manager Elliott Bond, Lifestyle LRV will eventually employ a large staff consisting almost entirely of former key Carriage Inc. employees.

“The last several weeks have been full of activity with ongoing developments in the product and staff,” Bond said, “and there is a high amount of enthusiasm already circulating about the new Lifestyle LRV brand.”

In November, Kelly L. Rose, a majority owner of EverGreen, told RVBUSINESS.com the company was stepping up to capitalize on Carriage’s good name by hiring the bulk of the company’s “brain trust” and management expertise with plans to build a towable RV line that’s similar in many ways to the Carriage lineup that the Millersburg, Ind., company had built for years.

Carriage, founded in 1968, closed its doors and furloughed 180 workers on Oct. 17 as an Indianapolis-based bank filed suit. On Feb. 21, an Ohio-based company will be holding an auction for all of Carriage’s assets at its long-time Millersburg headquarters.

Among the former Carriage people playing key roles for EverGreen are Bond, former Carriage CFO Deb Albin in finance, Pete Kauffman in manufacturing and Greg Kitson in product development and design.
