Jim Fassel, president/general manager/head football coach for the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League (UFL), loves the outdoors.
According to a report by the Las Vegas Review Journal, when not entrenched in his duties with the team and the UFL, Fassel sees the country in a 42-foot 2010 Fleetwood Discovery diesel Class A motorhome purchased from Findlay RV.
Fassel, the former head coach for the New York Giants from 1997-2003 who helped guide the team to the Super Bowl in 2001, is one of Findlay RV’s prized customers.
“When I first moved here, I talked to several people, including Findlay RV sales consultant Rose Maguire, and everyone told me that when purchasing a motorhome, you have to use it for more than annual vacations,” Fassel said.
The native of Anaheim, Calif., who moved to Las Vegas about two years ago to join the Locos, now makes good use of his motorhome.
“There is no sense in buying one and just letting it sit. We go all over, including Flaming Gorge in Wyoming and Utah, Denver, Lake Pleasant in Arizona, and we’re going to spend a week in Huntington Beach.”
