Hundreds of motorhomes and a variety of accessory merchandise will be assembled at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisc., as part of the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FMCA) 86th International Convention, set to run Aug. 10-13.

According to a press release, major motorhome manufacturers and dealers will be bringing new motorhomes for convention attendees to tour. Companies will display their wares inside the Exhibition Hall, making available RV accessories, components, supplies and campground information. The cost to view the motorhomes and displays of RV components and accessories is $7 per person.

FMCA said convention attendees will be able to check out the latest features and innovations that are available in motorhomes. Some of the displays will include production-line units, while others will show custom-built coaches for uses ranging from family camping to transporting high-tech business equipment for use as conference coaches. A great variety of motorhome styles and a broad price range will be represented.

The RV exhibition is just one element of the convention. FMCA said approximately 2,500 families will travel from across North America in their motorhomes to take part in the event, and some 8,000 people are expected to be on hand. The convention will include seminars on topics relative to RVing, along with  top-flight professional entertainment and various social events.

FMCA offers its members a broad range of benefits, including mail forwarding service, trip routing, accidental death insurance coverage, a medical evacuation program, group rates for an emergency roadside assistance plan, a fuel discount program, a group discount on motorhome insurance, along with access to its monthly magazine.
