AJbookRoger D. and Onna Lee Ford, owners of Ford RV Refrigeration in Benton, Ky., have collaborated to bring a comprehensive manual, “Average Joe’s RV Refrigerator: Troubleshooting & Repair Guide,” to the RV consumer market.

Most consumers may not be aware of it, but anybody is capable of comprehending and determining troubles with an RV refrigerator, according to the authors’ press release.

“Troubleshooting & Repair Guide” aims to help any person in making minor repairs. It also supplies information that helps one know whether or not his/her service tech is qualified to make an educated analysis of the problems and is able to do the repairs successfully with the least amount of cost to the consumer.

The Fords’ business, Ford RV Refrigeration, began operation in 1984 and has since become well-known in the RV industry. Along with the extensive RV service they provide, they also offer nationwide certified training in the field of RV refrigerator cooling unit reconditioning.

In 1994, the Fords also wrote and published, “The Ford Procedures,” which is a step-by-step instructional manual on reconditioning RV refrigerator cooling units. This manual is used in conjunction with the hands-on training they provide.

The 241-page book is available through Xlibris for $19.99 for paperback edition and $29.99 in hardback.
