Foretravel Motorcoach has initiated three personnel moves while also announcing that in addition to building high-end Class A motorhomes, the Nacogdoches, Texas, company is assembling 40-foot front-engine diesel coaches designed for medical and emergency applications.
According to a press release, the first three “Lone Star” units produced are being used as dental labs. The coaches are being distributed by Motor Specialty Vehicles of Jasper, Texas. “Foretravel is excited about this new opportunity, and building this unit is resulting in the hiring of additional employees at Foretravel,” said President Greg Amys.
Foretravel’s three promotions, effective Dec. 2, include:

Foretravel Motorcoach announced today (June 27) it has entered into a sales agreement with Platinum Coach & RV in Lewisville, Texas, to sell its line of luxury motorhomes.
According to a press release, Chad Dupuis launched the dealership earlier this year with his wife, Abby. Previously, Dupuis was a sales representative for Buddy Gregg Motor Homes and Marathon Coach.
The dealership, which specializes in pre-owned high-end coaches, will be promoting Foretravel in North Texas, and at various motorcoach parks and special events. As Platinum expands its space and operations, the company plans to offer “an appropriate level of service for their dealership,” according to Foretravel.
Foretravel, based in Nacogdoches, Texas, produces luxury coaches under the brand names Nimbus, IH and Phenix. The company marked its 40th anniversary in 2007.
Foretravel Motorcoach is now offering the Aqua-Hot 450 hydronic heating system on its Nimbus coach line. According to a press release, the Aqua-Hot 600 is already available on Foretravel’s IH and Phenix models.
“We have been very pleased with the convenience, efficiency and customer satisfaction with the 600 model and decided that the 450 model would provide the same for our Nimbus model coach,” said Greg Amys, Foretravel president and CEO.
The self-contained Aqua-Hot 450 is able to use power from three different sources: recycled heat from the engine while driving, shore power when available and diesel fuel anytime. Providing an unlimited supply of on-demand hot water, the Aqua-Hot 450 eliminates the need for a storage tank and can generate up to 90 gallons of hot water an hour.
For over 25 years, Aqua-Hot Heating Systems has been delivering state-of-the-art systems that provide continuous hot water, uniform cabin heat and engine preheating for RVs. For additional information call 800-685-4298 or 303-659-8221, e-mail email@example.com or visit www.aquahot.com.
For decades, Foretravel Motorcoach has crafted exceptional motorcoaches using technological innovation to develop luxurious comfort and styling. With that in mind, the company has chosen to offer the Aqua-Hot 600-D as standard equipment aboard its IH and Phenix models and optional on its Nimbus model, according to a news release. However, the hydronic heating unit can be installed on any of its motorcoaches.
“We decided to offer Aqua-Hot heating units on our motorhomes because of its improved burner design, efficiency and reliability,” said Greg, Amys, Foretravel president and CEO. “We are very satisfied with Aqua-Hot’s latest models, especially the 600.”
Aqua-Hot’s second most powerful heating system has the ability to keep the interior of an RV comfortably warm, provide continuous hot water and preheat the engine in all recreational locations. The Aqua-Hot 600 uses power from three sources, recycling heat from the engine when driving, shore power when available, and diesel fuel at any time. With its dual 2,000 watt electric elements, it isn’t necessary to use the diesel-burner option in most weather conditions, saving fuel.
For over 40 years, Foretravel has been known in the RV industry as a trendsetter and producer of the finest luxury motorcoaches. The company is located in Nacogdoches, Texas.
For over 25 years, Aqua-Hot Heating Systems has been delivering state-of-the-art systems that provide continuous hot water, uniform cabin heat and engine preheating to RVers’ home-away-from-home. Making the road a more comfortable place, the company employs advanced technology that virtually eliminates all exhaust odor.

MCD Innovations announced today (June 3) that Foretravel Motorcoach has chosen the MCD American Duo Shade System as original equipment in their 2010 Phenix and Nimbus models.
“A quality-built motorcoach must be equipped with quality-built components and MCD shades are the only shades which Foretravel motorcoaches are equipped. Their dependability, styling and ease of use makes for an easy choice in window shades,” Curtis Fancher, sales manager for Foretravel of Texas Inc., stated in a news release.
“Foretravel motorcoach owners will enjoy the powered options available with the American Duo Shade System and will immediately recognize the benefits of this high-tech total privacy window shade solution,” noted Dave Townsley, CEO of MCD Innovations. “We are pleased to have developed this relationship with Foretravel and look forward to providing quality products for their customers for years to come.”
The MCD American Duo proprietary ClearView solar shade fabric dramatically reduces the amount of UV rays and heat that enter a coach, while providing day time privacy and outward visibility. The MCD night shade fabrics provide 100% light-blockage and room-darkening capability.
