Foretravel Partners With Platinum Coach & RV

Foretravel Motorcoach announced today (June 27) it has entered into a sales agreement with Platinum Coach & RV in Lewisville, Texas, to sell its line of luxury motorhomes.

According to a press release, Chad Dupuis launched the dealership earlier this year with his wife, Abby. Previously, Dupuis was a sales representative for Buddy Gregg Motor Homes and Marathon Coach.

The dealership, which specializes in pre-owned high-end coaches, will be promoting Foretravel in North Texas, and at various motorcoach parks and special events. As Platinum expands its space and operations, the company plans to offer “an appropriate level of service for their dealership,” according to Foretravel.

Foretravel, based in Nacogdoches, Texas, produces luxury coaches under the brand names Nimbus, IH and Phenix. The company marked its 40th anniversary in 2007.

Foretravel’s Nimbus Now Offers Aqua-Hot 450

Foretravel Motorcoach is now offering the Aqua-Hot 450 hydronic heating system on its Nimbus coach line. According to a press release, the Aqua-Hot 600 is already available on Foretravel’s IH and Phenix models.

“We have been very pleased with the convenience, efficiency and customer satisfaction with the 600 model and decided that the 450 model would provide the same for our Nimbus model coach,” said Greg Amys, Foretravel president and CEO.

The self-contained Aqua-Hot 450 is able to use power from three different sources: recycled heat from the engine while driving, shore power when available and diesel fuel anytime. Providing an unlimited supply of on-demand hot water, the Aqua-Hot 450 eliminates the need for a storage tank and can generate up to 90 gallons of hot water an hour.

Foretravel Makes Aqua-Hot 600-D a Standard

Foretravel Chooses MCD Innovations’ Shades

MCD Innovations announced today (June 3) that Foretravel Motorcoach has chosen the MCD American Duo Shade System as original equipment in their 2010 Phenix and Nimbus models.
