Pedata RV Center, Phoenix, Ariz., has released its suggested  list of the top three smart phone applications to help motorhome travelers save money on gas.

According to a news release, the dealer’s top three list of iPhone apps are:

  1. WHERE: This application combines GPS and GasBuddy to get motorhome travelers gas prices from the closest gas stations. This application is made by uLocate Communications. This application is free.
  2. FuelGage: This application is made by Joseph Kueser and costs 99 cents. It tracks mileage and offers quick comparisons of performance. It can track multiple vehicles and tally trip totals. It’s particularly useful for splitting gas costs.
  3. NetRouter: This application saves fuel by creating optimal routes. This can be particularly advantageous for motorhome owners who have a multiple stop trip scheduled for the holidays.

Gerard Pedata of Pedata RV Center said, “Saving money on gas has always been of interest to motorhome owners and travelers. It’s even more interesting now that the recession has made Americans more aware of how much they’re spending and where they are spending it.”
