In response to consumer and dealer requests, Rob Groover, general manager of Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc.’s Grand Junction division, announced the availability of the exclusive “Cedar Suite” walk-in closet on every Grand Junction high-end, fifth-wheel floorplan.
The Grand Junction’s walk-in closet space utilizes the entire front cap area, something not found in the industry’s competing lines, according to a news release.
Says Groover, “At Grand Junction, we are taking innovation to the next level. The Cedar Suite walk-in closet is just a preview of all of the residential amenities that the Grand Junction offers. We strive to listen to the market and give our customers what they want. We believe we have done just that with this unbelievable addition to our line-up.”
Grand Junction is also introducing four new floorplans this fall, all with the Cedar Suite.

Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc. has designed a cedar-lined walk-in closet (below) for its all-new luxury Grand Junction fifth-wheel series that uses space that usually is overlooked in the front cap. ”We picked up 3 feet of functional storage space without increasing the length, price or weight of the coach using the space between what usually is the front wall and the cap itself,” said Don Clark, president of the Goshen, Ind., towable manufacturer. The Grand Junction, revamped for 2010 with new floorplans and a more moderate price point, is available in five 32- to 38-foot floorplans with three or four slides — the 340RL has the closet — and features high-gloss fiberglass exteriors, command centers, heated and enclosed underbellies, solid cherry cabinets and Corian countertops throughout. Base MSRP: $58,000.
The first new product from Dutchmen Manufacturing Co. Inc., Goshen, Ind., since it’s reorganization and appointment of Don Clark as president is a redesign of the company’s flagship 2010 Grand Junction luxury fifth-wheel that has increased exterior storage by 38%. With a new ”eyesight” front cap that allows a 90-degree turning radius and easier docking with the tow vehicle, Grand Junction is available in 34- to 38-foot lengths with up to five slideouts. ”We’ve got a new process that makes the graphics three dimensional,” Clark said. ”And with the ‘eyesight’ front cap, you just look out your mirror that is angled toward your hitch.” Grand Junction sports solid hickory cabinet doors, Corian countertops, residential-style furniture and cedar-lined walk-in closets. MSRPs from $52,000.
