Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has launched the new 25SBW floorplan in its Conquest/Innsbruck travel trailer line, featuring a rear kitchen design and upscale amenities normally found in larger, more expensive trailers.
According to a press release, the 25SBW borrows key design features of the best-selling Conquest/Innsbruck 295SBW. The floorplan offers a gourmet-friendly, full-width rear kitchen with extensive cabinetry, storage drawers, an L-shaped counter and double-door refrigerator. The main living space uses a deep slideout to provide room for a comfy sofa, dinette with under-seat storage, and a floor-to-ceiling entertainment center with a multi-function home theater sound system and connections for an optional LED HD TV.
“The rear kitchen design of the 25SBW is a retail champion in two ways,” said National Sales Manager Randy Baskerville. “It has immediate appeal when RV shoppers find it on dealers’ lots, with its high-quality cabinetry and spacious sunlit workspace. But more than that, RVers soon realize how practical and convenient it is on the campsite, enabling everyone to share the casual camping lifestyle without making the cook stand in the middle of the main living area.”
In spite of its compact size, the 30-foot 25SBW gives owners a true master bedroom with a solid panel privacy door, a walk-around queen bed with under-bed storage, mirrored shirt closet, wardrobe, and overhead cabinets. A mounting point and wiring for a wall-mount flat screen TV is also included.
Gulfstream also designed an en suite bath with two entry doors – one from the main living area hall, the other from a private door in the master bedroom. A large corner shower with a solid-panel enclosure and shower door is featured in the bath.
With a dry weight under 5900 pounds and durable construction, the 25SBW is “a high-reward, high-value alternative for campers who like to travel light and easy,” noted Baskerville.

Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is reporting strong sales in the early round of 2014 RV consumer shows, according to a press release.
Following last week’s Florida RV Show in Tampa, National Sales Manager Randy Baskerville noted, “Buyers were out in force at the show, looking at everything from our entry-level Ameri-Lite 14-foot travel trailers to Yellowstone RV 40-foot fifth-wheels. I’ve been coming to this show for 30 years, and in terms of buyer enthusiasm and sales, this is the best one ever.”
The report from the Ohio RV SuperShow in Cleveland was similarly enthusiastic, with double the retail sales of last year’s event. In fact, at venues stretching from Houston to Toronto, and from Lansing to Boston, Gulf Stream sales staff reported high traffic levels and increased show sales.

Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has introduced the new Conquest/Innsbruck 40DEN destination trailer, featuring a triple-slide floorplan that gives RVers a huge front kitchen, multipurpose “den” and his-and-hers master suite. According to a press release, Gulf Stream will debut the new “Lodge Series” model as part of the Dec. 3-5 National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
The 40DEN kitchen is set off by front bay windows along with spacious countertops and hardwood cabinets. A residential refrigerator/freezer is standard and a 24-inch oven is an available option. The main living area includes a deep slide with a hide-a-bed sofa, entertainment center, luxurious wood blinds and sliding glass patio doors.
The multipurpose den provides connections and workspace for a computer, video games and flat-screen TV, as well as a hide-a-bed sofa for relaxing. When overnight guests arrive, the sofa and a fold-down bunk turn the den into a second bedroom, complete with its own wardrobe/closet. The rear master suite includes a king size bed, “en-suite” his ’n hers bath with glass-door corner shower, a private rear entrance, and a roomy wardrobe with vanity and TV hookups.
According to National Sales Manager Randy Baskerville, Conquest and Innsbruck dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada have seen remarkable growth in destination trailer sales in the past two years.

Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc. announced today (Sept. 25) that attendance for its Elkhart County RV Open House events was up at least 35% over last year. According a press release, Gulf Stream saw record-setting crowds at its Monday night kickoff event in Nappanee, Ind., as well as the company’s product display in Elkhart.
Monday night, hundreds of dealers and prospects enjoyed Gulf Stream’s “world famous” steak, shrimp and egg roll buffet during the traditional kickoff Party at the Gulf Stream Country Club. Dealers took advantage of ideal weather to explore over 50 units on display under the lights outside the Country Club Pavilion, while live music, open bar, Monday Night Football, fishing, golf and casino action provided a festive and relaxing atmosphere throughout the event.
From Tuesday to Thursday at Gulf Stream’s exhibit on County Road 6, the builder presented its “biggest-ever display of new products.”
“Dealers saw one of the most aggressive product enhancements in Gulf Stream history,” said President Dan Shea, “and dealers have responded with remarkable enthusiasm to the changes and improvements. We showed over a dozen new floorplans, scores of décor upgrades and some true game-changing innovations. More and more dealers are realizing that Gulf Stream is product driven – and it is product that drives their retail sales. As a result, we’re writing more orders, signing more dealers, and encompassing more new territory by providing products with quality, value and innovation.”
Gulf Stream Coach was also prepared for the rains that hit on Thursday with an extensive indoor display.
“We knew that the September rains would show up during the Open House sooner or later,” commented Shea. “That’s why we took the bold step of creating an indoor display so dealers could park, explore products, relax, and enjoy lunch, all indoors, without having to endure the torrential record-setting rains on Thursday.”
Gulf Stream Coach Inc., Nappanee, Ind., announced that Brad Whitehead has been named general manager for the builder’s lightweight towable division. According to a press release, Whitehead will be responsible for Vista Cruiser, Gulf Breeze, StreamLite and several other popular lightweight lines.
Whitehead, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, has an extensive towables background and has held leadership positions at several levels.

Gulf Stream Coach Inc.’s year-long WIN RV Sweepstakes recently culminated at Stoltzfus RV in West Chester, Pa., where grand prize winners Don and Toni Fuller were presented with a brand new Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite travel.
Conducted with the help of participating Gulf Stream dealers across North America, the WIN RV promotion “elevated Gulf Stream products in the eyes of thousands of participants,” according to a press release. The Fullers’ winning entry was drawn at random from among the thousands received.
The Ameri-Lite 19RBC was transported to Stoltzfus RV where General Manager Joe Hendrickson and Gulf Stream Coach Regional Sales Manager Al Slabaugh passed the keys and title to the Fullers.
The couple, residents of of York, Pa., submitted their entry while shopping for a new travel trailer last spring. “We’ve always wanted a Gulf Stream, but we never dreamed we’d win one,” Toni said.

The Ultra-Light division of Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is introducing a new 35-foot triple-slide floorplan sporting a rear entertainment configuration, island kitchen and a bathroom/wardrobe slide – a first in the lightweight trailer sector, according to a press release.
The new 30RLK heralds a host of improvements and introductions for the Gulf Stream Ultra-Light division, including the design, weight, durability and environmental benefits of synthetic substrates used in the vacuum-bonded laminated fiberglass walls that characterize Gulf Breeze, StreamLite and VISA trailers.
Twelve units from the Ultra-Light division will be on display in the Gulf Stream Coach display at the RVIA Show (Space #2125), including several new floorplans like a new 21-foot Ultra Light at 2,800 featuring two island kitchen plans. Other amenities offered are an outdoor pantry under the awning, new interior fabric choices, a Bluetooth-enabled stereo sound system, new under-mount soapstone-style kitchen sink, new solid-surface countertops, enhanced bedroom storage and convenience items and a handy bumper-mounted grille.
The Ameri-Lite Division of Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is leveraging the success of its top selling travel trailer, the 7 1/2-foot wide 21MB, to launch the new 218MB at the National RV Trade Show, Nov. 27-29 in Louisville, Ky.
Based on the 21MB floorplan, the 218MB extends the interior width to 8 feet, providing more living space, and pass-through storage along with added comfort, according to a press release. The lightweight 218MM will retail at $11,995.
Other improvements in the Ameri-Lite line include a new aerodynamically curved front wall, black accent trim, optional silver metal sidewalls, attractive new exterior graphics and upgraded solid wood cabinet doors and drawers.
Dealers can see the new 218MB and the rest of the Ameri-Lite advances at the Gulf Stream Coach display in the East Hall (Space #2125) at the Louisville Show.
Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has added Kilgore’s Enterprises Inc. to its dealer network, according to a press release. Kilgore’s, based in Creston, Iowa, will represent the Canyon Trail, Innsbruck and Ameri-Lite towable brands.
“Kilgore’s will be a great addition to the Gulf Stream dealer network, serving the Creston and southern Des Moines market, and we are glad to welcome them into our family,” said Phil Sarvari, executive vice president for Gulf Stream, currently marking its 30th year.
In 1958, Kilgore’s started in the car business in Creston, and in 2006 entered into the RV business. The company expanded in 2007, adding a dedicated RV sales location in Creston.
“It is always good when we partner with a dealer like Kilgore’s that shares longevity, strong ties to community and dedication to their customers,” Sarvari added.

Yellowstone RV, the fifth wheel affiliate of Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc., is using this week’s Elkhart County RV Open House to premier three new floorplans and a host of enhancements, improvements and new options. According to a press release, the new models were well received by dealers at the event.
The Canyon Trail mid-profile line added the 27FRET triple-slide floorplan, which features a unique “Rock Wall Entertainment Center” that spans the width of the unit with a rough-hewn rock style wall, 42-inch flat screen HD TV, electric fireplace heater, AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo system and windows that frame the view. The “Rock Wall” is flanked by a Hide-A-Bed Sofa on one side, and a sun-drenched Atrium Slide with an easy chair and free-standing dinette on the other.
Like other Canyon Trail models, the 27FRET kitchen offers multiple cabinets with hardwood doors and drawers, a residential size refrigerator, stainless double-bowl sink, range, microwave and oven. The master bedroom features a 60-inch by 80-inch mattress and an en suite master bath that includes a floor-to-ceiling linen closet.
On the exterior, the fifth-wheel offers a large insulated basement storage area with a hinged bulkhead wall and three-sided access, a dedicated compartment for two 30-pound LP tanks on the off door side, and a convenient docking station to manage on-board utilities. The full size RidgeLine fifth wheel line is displaying two floorplans for the Elkhart Show: the 38FLR Executive Edition, a lavishly equipped front-living room model, and the 34FRSI, which uses two huge slides to create a spacious rear living area focused on entertainment. Both showcase optional residential-quality dark redwood stained cabinetry and designer-approved optional solid surface countertops.
The front living room of the 38FLR is richly decorated and stylishly furnished, with facing leather sofas, a huge 60-inch flat screen LCD HD TV, multi-source stereo and wider mount electric fireplace heater with pencil tile hearth stone.
The kitchen and dining area features attractive cabinetry, a standard 12-cubic-foot stainless steel french-door refrigerator, convection microwave, range, oven and residential-size double bowl stainless sink with a pull-out sprayer faucet.
In the RidgeLine 34FRSI, the living area includes plush recliners facing the big-screen HD TV, as well as a hide-a-bed sofa and free-standing dinette.
The master bath included a stylish glass vessel sink and large shower while the adjacent master bedroom features plush fabrics, a spacious 4-drawer dresser and cedar-lined closet with tracery-framed mirrored doors.
RidgeLine is built with a dropped-framed chassis offering durability, including a welded six-sided aluminum frame, two inch thick walls with rigid foam and reflective foil insulation, high-gloss exteriors in Champagne gel-coat and fully enclosed underbellies with additional insulation in the basement to keep bath and bedroom floors especially warm.
