Trailer Awarded to Gulf Stream Contest Winners

Gulf Stream Coach Inc.’s year-long WIN RV Sweepstakes recently culminated at Stoltzfus RV in West Chester, Pa., where grand prize winners Don and Toni Fuller were presented with a brand new Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite travel.
Conducted with the help of participating Gulf Stream dealers across North America, the WIN RV promotion “elevated Gulf Stream products in the eyes of thousands of participants,” according to a press release. The Fullers’ winning entry was drawn at random from among the thousands received.
The Ameri-Lite 19RBC was transported to Stoltzfus RV where General Manager Joe Hendrickson and Gulf Stream Coach Regional Sales Manager Al Slabaugh passed the keys and title to the Fullers.
The couple, residents of of York, Pa., submitted their entry while shopping for a new travel trailer last spring. “We’ve always wanted a Gulf Stream, but we never dreamed we’d win one,” Toni said.
“We’re excited for the Fullers’ good fortune and we’re very pleased at the interest and enthusiasm our WIN RV Sweepstakes generated for Gulf Stream products and for Gulf Stream dealers,” Randy Baskerville, national sales manager for Ameri-Lite said. “Our sweepstakes brought thousands and thousands of potential customers and dealers together across the United States and Canada in a fun, exciting way.”
Gulf Stream Ultra-Light Debuts Triple-Slide Unit

The Ultra-Light division of Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is introducing a new 35-foot triple-slide floorplan sporting a rear entertainment configuration, island kitchen and a bathroom/wardrobe slide – a first in the lightweight trailer sector, according to a press release.
The new 30RLK heralds a host of improvements and introductions for the Gulf Stream Ultra-Light division, including the design, weight, durability and environmental benefits of synthetic substrates used in the vacuum-bonded laminated fiberglass walls that characterize Gulf Breeze, StreamLite and VISA trailers.
Twelve units from the Ultra-Light division will be on display in the Gulf Stream Coach display at the RVIA Show (Space #2125), including several new floorplans like a new 21-foot Ultra Light at 2,800 featuring two island kitchen plans. Other amenities offered are an outdoor pantry under the awning, new interior fabric choices, a Bluetooth-enabled stereo sound system, new under-mount soapstone-style kitchen sink, new solid-surface countertops, enhanced bedroom storage and convenience items and a handy bumper-mounted grille.
Gulf Stream Adds New Floorplan to Ameri-Lite

The Ameri-Lite Division of Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is leveraging the success of its top selling travel trailer, the 7 1/2-foot wide 21MB, to launch the new 218MB at the National RV Trade Show, Nov. 27-29 in Louisville, Ky.
Based on the 21MB floorplan, the 218MB extends the interior width to 8 feet, providing more living space, and pass-through storage along with added comfort, according to a press release. The lightweight 218MM will retail at $11,995.
Other improvements in the Ameri-Lite line include a new aerodynamically curved front wall, black accent trim, optional silver metal sidewalls, attractive new exterior graphics and upgraded solid wood cabinet doors and drawers.
Dealers can see the new 218MB and the rest of the Ameri-Lite advances at the Gulf Stream Coach display in the East Hall (Space #2125) at the Louisville Show.
Gulf Stream Adding Kilgore’s to Dealer Network

Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has added Kilgore’s Enterprises Inc. to its dealer network, according to a press release. Kilgore’s, based in Creston, Iowa, will represent the Canyon Trail, Innsbruck and Ameri-Lite towable brands.
“Kilgore’s will be a great addition to the Gulf Stream dealer network, serving the Creston and southern Des Moines market, and we are glad to welcome them into our family,” said Phil Sarvari, executive vice president for Gulf Stream, currently marking its 30th year.
In 1958, Kilgore’s started in the car business in Creston, and in 2006 entered into the RV business. The company expanded in 2007, adding a dedicated RV sales location in Creston.
“It is always good when we partner with a dealer like Kilgore’s that shares longevity, strong ties to community and dedication to their customers,” Sarvari added.
Kilgore’s will officially unveil the new Gulf Stream product lines at its Nov. 2-3 Fall Open House.
Yellowstone RV Shows Three New Fiver Models

Yellowstone RV, the fifth wheel affiliate of Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc., is using this week’s Elkhart County RV Open House to premier three new floorplans and a host of enhancements, improvements and new options. According to a press release, the new models were well received by dealers at the event.
The Canyon Trail mid-profile line added the 27FRET triple-slide floorplan, which features a unique “Rock Wall Entertainment Center” that spans the width of the unit with a rough-hewn rock style wall, 42-inch flat screen HD TV, electric fireplace heater, AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo system and windows that frame the view. The “Rock Wall” is flanked by a Hide-A-Bed Sofa on one side, and a sun-drenched Atrium Slide with an easy chair and free-standing dinette on the other.
Like other Canyon Trail models, the 27FRET kitchen offers multiple cabinets with hardwood doors and drawers, a residential size refrigerator, stainless double-bowl sink, range, microwave and oven. The master bedroom features a 60-inch by 80-inch mattress and an en suite master bath that includes a floor-to-ceiling linen closet.
On the exterior, the fifth-wheel offers a large insulated basement storage area with a hinged bulkhead wall and three-sided access, a dedicated compartment for two 30-pound LP tanks on the off door side, and a convenient docking station to manage on-board utilities. Like all Canyon Trail models, the 27FRET is built with 2-inch thick vacuum-bonded high-gloss walls and a welded six-sided aluminum frame that is easily outfitted for true four-season camping with the Yellowstone RV Extreme Weather Protection Package.
The full size RidgeLine fifth wheel line is displaying two floorplans for the Elkhart Show: the 38FLR Executive Edition, a lavishly equipped front-living room model, and the 34FRSI, which uses two huge slides to create a spacious rear living area focused on entertainment. Both showcase optional residential-quality dark redwood stained cabinetry and designer-approved optional solid surface countertops.
The front living room of the 38FLR is richly decorated and stylishly furnished, with facing leather sofas, a huge 60-inch flat screen LCD HD TV, multi-source stereo and wider mount electric fireplace heater with pencil tile hearth stone.
The kitchen and dining area features attractive cabinetry, a standard 12-cubic-foot stainless steel french-door refrigerator, convection microwave, range, oven and residential-size double bowl stainless sink with a pull-out sprayer faucet.
In the RidgeLine 34FRSI, the living area includes plush recliners facing the big-screen HD TV, as well as a hide-a-bed sofa and free-standing dinette.
The master bath included a stylish glass vessel sink and large shower while the adjacent master bedroom features plush fabrics, a spacious 4-drawer dresser and cedar-lined closet with tracery-framed mirrored doors.
RidgeLine is built with a dropped-framed chassis offering durability, including a welded six-sided aluminum frame, two inch thick walls with rigid foam and reflective foil insulation, high-gloss exteriors in Champagne gel-coat and fully enclosed underbellies with additional insulation in the basement to keep bath and bedroom floors especially warm.

Gulf Stream Expands VISA Line for Open House

Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc. will be debuting two new 23-foot floorplans in its VISA lightweight travel trailer line during next week’s Elkhart County RV Open House.
According to a press release, the new models are equipped with VISA’s aerodynamic roof that extends from the front frame to the rear bumper in a single piece of vacuum-bonded laminated fiberglass to reduce drag and eliminate leak-prone corners, seams and joints. Both models also use the unique VISA frame that provides a lower profile on the exterior while still offering a generous 82 inches of interior headroom for a spacious, open feel.
The 23RSD is a non-slide mobile suite with a roomy, easy-entry L-shaped dinette and convertible bunks. The 23BDS expands living space with an electric slide for its large U-shaped dinette and features a full-width rear bath that has the largest counter area of any VISA floorplan.
“Our dealers continue to rave about the retail performance of the VISA brand,” said Tim Dennig, national sales manager for Gulf Stream’s lightweight division. “Prospects drive hundreds of miles and line up at shows just to get a look inside – and they love what they see.”
Dennig reported that VISA has added more than two dozen new dealers in the past few months.
All VISA models feature European-inspired interior design and premium-quality appointments. New for 2013 are enlarged outside pass-through storage doors, a larger under-bed storage space, stylish new exterior graphics, an all-new palette of rich, durable fabrics, an optional bumper-mounted quick-connect gas grill and an optional power patio awning.

Gulf Stream Adding Conquest, Innsbruck Model

Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has added a new floorplan to its Conquest and Innsbruck travel trailer lines, set to debut during next week’s Elkhart County RV Open House.
According to a press release, the 277DDS is designed for active camping families, featuring two full-size bunks, a private master bedroom with residential solid-panel doors and a walk-around queen bed, and two family-friendly entry doors, including one that opens directly into the bath.
Gulf Stream said that the new floorplan is also “loaded with standards” as part of the company’s “high-content, high-value strategy.”
“When our dealers do a features and benefits walk-through with retail customers, they’re constantly saying, ‘it’s included,’” said Randy Baskerville, national sales manager for the brands. “That’s an incredibly powerful retail tool. Customers want value, without gimmicks or hidden costs. They want a travel trailer that doesn’t require a long list of extra-cost options to be livable, and the new 277DDS is a perfect example of that idea.”

Gulf Stream to Debut Bath Slide at Open House

Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has introduced an innovative bath slide in its Gulf Breeze and Streamlite travel trailer brands, according to a press release.
“The new bath slide from Gulf Stream adds significant floor area, storage, counter space and convenience to the baths of several new Gulf Breeze and StreamLite Floor Plans,” says Tim Dennig, national sales manager for the Gulf Stream’s lightweight division. “Our dealers told us their customers would appreciate a bigger bath, but didn’t want us to compromise the rest of the living area of floorplans they love. When the bathroom wall moves out, owners get a bath that has plenty of elbow-room for full-size adults.”
He added, “The bigger bath can double as a changing room, plus there’s room for a big linen cabinet, four times as much counter space, and at least double the under-counter storage of many traditional RV baths.”

Yellowstone Rolls Out Triple-Slide Canyon Trail

Yellowstone RV, a division of Nappanee, Ind.-based Gulf Stream Coach Inc., has introduced a new triple-slide Canyon Trail fifth-wheel featuring a full-height “Rock Wall Entertainment Center” and full-view atrium windows. According to a press release, the new Canyon Trail XLT 27FRET will be showcased in the company’s displays at the corner of CR 6 East and Northland Drive in Elkhart and the Gulf Stream Country Club in Nappanee during the Sept. 18-21 Elkhart County RV Open House.
The 27-footer is aggressively priced and offers towing ease, weighing around 8,900 pounds and equipped with with Canyon Trail’s short-bed front cap and pin box design.
“Camping couples with a short bed truck can benefit from all the technology and design innovations we’ve pioneered at Yellowstone RV in a unit that’s particularly easy to own and operate,” said Yellowstone RV National Sales Manager Mike Spencer. “The 27FRET is the perfect platform for our stunning Bayridge Maple or optional Dark Cherry hardwood cabinetry. The full-view Atrium windows flood the free-standing dinette table that slides and swivels, a full size leather recliner, a hide-a-bed sofa with reversible cushions and a brand new “Rock Wall’ entertainment center that showcases a 32-inch to 42-inch flat screen HDTV and optional electric fireplace.”
Spencer said that Yellowstone’s exclusive XLT chassis provides sliderooms with 6-foot 2-inch ceiling height and 1/4-inch thick steel headers. The master suite has a standard wardrobe slideout and plenty of walk-around space for the full 60-inch by 80-inch queen bed. The full-size residential kitchen offers optional solid surface countertops while the deluxe bath features a full-height linen closet.

Gulf Stream’s ‘Party’ Kicks Off RV Open House

Gulf Stream Coach Inc. will be holding an “Opening Night Party” at its headquarters in Nappanee, Ind., on Sept. 17 in conjunction with Elkhart County RV Open House Week.
According to a press release, Gulf Stream is inviting “all dealers in the Elkhart area to the event,” to be held at the Gulf Stream Country Club located on the company’s manufacturing complex.
“Last year, our Casino Night attracted hundreds and this year we’re preparing for even more guests, with free golf, catch-and-release fishing, cocktails, dinner, great casino action in the Club House, informal carnival games in the Country Club parking lot and plenty of cash prizes,” commented Phil Sarvari, Gulf Stream Coach executive vice president. “Of course, dealers are in town to see what’s new and exciting and Gulf Stream will have everything they’re looking for on display at the party. That’s why we’re inviting all dealers and industry leaders to be a part of the festivities in Nappanee on Monday.”
