Gulf Stream Coach Inc.’s will debut its new Canyon Trail 36FBQS “front-bath” fifth-wheel during the National RV Trade Show, Nov. 27-29 in Louisville, Ky.

According to a press release, the all-new design creates a roomy master bath suite providing additional square footage compared to traditional side-aisle baths. Features include a 30-inch by 54-inch one-piece fiberglass shower, 6-foot long solid-surface bath lavatory with “his and her” vessel sink basins, full-height linen closet and full-width wardrobe closet across the front wall.

The master bedroom suite also offers a bed slideroom on the off-door side and a dresser/entertainment center slide on the door side. “The two opposing bedroom slides provide unbelievable walk-around space around the bed and excellent visibility into the front bath as you enter the unit,” stated Mike Spencer, division manager of Yellowstone RV.

The main floor entryway includes a convenient half bath designed with a built-in closet/pantry designed to accept a stackable washer dryer unit. “This unit is designed to accommodate full-timers traveling with guests as well as folks that may have difficulty walking up steps to do laundry or use the bathroom,” said Spencer.

The “island kitchen” provides spacious countertop space along with extra drawer and pantry space and is set off by elegant solid surface countertops. The living area is designed to allow the customer to place their sofa, dual leather recliners or home theater system in the huge door side slideroom or along the rear wall of the unit.

“We call it flexible seating,” said Spencer. “This means the dealer and customer can get what they want, where they want it, for increased comfort for owners and increased sales for our dealers. Furthermore, the increased length of the mid-deck area and forward location of the plumbing in the basement compartment area dramatically increases pass through storage over most other fifth-wheel designs.”

The unit is 40 feet long and weighs 12,490 pounds with a pin weight of 2,730 pounds, and is targeted to be easily pulled by ¾-ton trucks. The affordable Canyon Trail 36FBQS will be part of the Gulf Stream/Yellowstone RV display in exhibit 2125 of the Kentucky Exposition Center.
