The Camping World store in Statesville, N.C., is pledging its support of Habitat for Humanity of Iredell County.
Officials from the store and the nonprofit recently announced a partnership that will benefit Habitat and its efforts, the Statesville Landmark Record & Landmark reported.
According to a Camping World press release, the “company is experiencing a record setting pace for 2010 and decided to share in their good fortune.”
Starting Monday (July 26) and lasting through the end of August, a portion of the proceeds of units purchased at Camping World will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Iredell County.
“The Team at Camping World of Statesville wanted to contribute and celebrate this great cause,” Camping World General Manager Alan Good said in the press release, noting Habitat’s 25th anniversary in the county.
Habitat is an international organization that builds and renovates homes for people in need.
“We appreciate the efforts of the Camping World staff and customers in helping build a better world for local families,” said Scott Loudermelt, Habitat for Humanity of Iredell County executive director.
