Keystone RV Co. today (Nov. 23) announced agreement with Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS) to provide seamless integration of back-end services for Keystone RV dealers who utilize IDS software and systems.
The result of this integration will save Keystone dealers hundreds of data entry hours, eliminate errors and enable dealers to more efficiently manage their parts and service business, according to a news release.
According to Randy Mast, Keystone vice president of customer service, the agreement with IDS was a long time coming but well worth the effort. Says Mast, “Once implementation takes place early in 2011, our dealers will see the immediate benefits. Since many Keystone dealers utilize IDS software, system integration will make it unnecessary for these dealers to duplicate data entry for warranty claim authorization and reimbursement, parts orders and retail unit registration. This is a huge gain in efficiencies and will help drive down Keystone dealers administrative costs.”
Keystone President Bob Martin considers the IDS partnership one example of the kind of support Keystone RV dealers receive before, during and after the sale.
“We recognize our role in helping to keep our dealer partners strong and profitable,” says Martin. “By delivering industry leading products, lead-generating national promotions, and efficient back-end support, Keystone dealers will continue to win big in the marketplace. We look forward to providing more reasons for dealers to do business with Keystone. ”
Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS), a provider of dealership management software for RV, marine and boat dealers, recently announced the launch of Astra G2 (Generation 2). Astra G2 will deliver a new user experience, making it easier for dealers to manage key elements of their dealership with the software, according to a news release.
This new version of the Astra dealership management software includes an intuitive visual navigation and visual representation of data. “By displaying key metrics as charts and graphs, it becomes much simpler for dealers to get the information they need,” said IDS President Sean Raynor.
Astra G2‘s retooled information architecture was also carefully redesigned to group functions together based on the way RV and marine dealers work.
Astra G2 will continue to provide the powerful functionality dealers in the RV and marine industry depend on, with enterprise-wide integration to help manage dealerships efficiently and effectively.
“This isn’t just about giving our dealer management software a facelift – this is all about making it easier for our customers to manage their dealerships,” says Raynor. “Not only will you find powerful new features and enhancements – you’ll find a whole new, and significantly improved, user experience.”
The initial modules of Astra G2, Parts and Services, were released this spring as part of Astra G2 Version 9.10.4. Remaining modules will be converted and included in the fall release, currently scheduled for October.
Dealers interested in a demonstration of Astra G2 are asked to visit www.ids-astra.com or call an IDS representative.
