Fifteen publicly traded companies based in Indiana, including Cummins Inc., will highlight their strengths and investment opportunities today (Sept. 9) at the second annual INVESTIndiana Equity Conference.
Evansville-based Integra Bank CEO Mike Alley says the event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway offers a chance for smaller to mid-size public companies to speak to analysts, investors and the public and hopefully attract new interest. Alley also says the conference will also highlight Indiana’s business climate and skilled work force.
Former Ohio Congressman Michael G. Oxley, co-author of the landmark Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, is the keynote speaker. Oxley, now senior adviser to The NASDAQ OMX Group board of directors, and Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels are the keynote speakers headlining the invitation-only investment community event.
