Prevost bus converter Liberty Coach Inc. will be showcasing an integrated speaker system built by English-based KEF as part of this week’s 2014 Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa. According to a press release, the company introduced the KEF system last May.
“From our standpoint, it’s a match made in heaven,” said Frank Konigseder Jr., vice president and co-owner of Liberty Coach, with locations in Stuart, Fla., and the Chicago area. “For decades, Liberty Coach has been recognized as the best of the best in Prevost coach conversions. KEF enjoys comparable stature within their market.”
KEF is designed with separate integrated sets of speakers for TV viewing in the main living area, bedroom and the exterior of the coach. Components include compact, powerful in-ceiling speakers featuring KEF’s patented Uni-Q source driver array, which achieves “a level of sound quality over a broad area not possible with conventional speakers,” the company said.
“The sound is just incredible,” Konigseder said. “To me, there’s no question that our conversion to the KEF system was instrumental to the phenomenal sales success of our 2014 model year motor coaches.”
“KEF is excited to partner with Liberty Coach in creating what we truly believe is ‘the greatest sound on wheels,’” said David Kroll, national sales manager of KEF/GP Acoustics (U.S.) Inc.
