RV Dealer Seeks Donations for Fire Victims

Keystone RV Center dealership in Greencastle, Pa., is collecting donations for the victims of a Barbour County, W.Va., trailer fire.

Katie Shaw of Keystone RV Center said the business is collecting items through today (Oct. 22) for the family of Erica and Joey Sandy, family members of a Keystone employee, The Herald-Mail, Hagerstown, Md., reported.

A 4-year-old child was killed in the fire, and Joey Sandy was in critical condition after going back into the trailer and rescuing three children, according to the Associated Press.

Items can be delivered to Keystone RV Center at 15799 S. Young Road in Greencastle.

Shaw said needed clothing items include:

  • Men’s clothes size 32-inch waist pants, medium shirts, size 11 shoes
  • Women’s size 5/6, size 6 1/2 shoes
  • Boys size 8 regular, size 11 shoes (youth)
  • Toddlers size 12-18 months, size four diapers
  • Infant clothes size 3-6 months, newborn or stage one diapers

Shaw said the family lost everything in the fire, and donations of any kind will be accepted, including bedding and toys. The dealership will be delivering donations to the family on Saturday, she said.
