“With the popularity of the side-by-side sport utility market, and specifically the larger four place SXS’s like the Polaris RZR XP 4 1000, as well as large road bikes, utility quads and other toys, our customers are asking for a functional 12-foot cargo area, which we made sure the 2612 had,” stated Marketing Director Bob Rogers.
Gary Conley, National Sales Manager noted, “Our dealers and customers love what they see in the 2212, and the 2612 is the perfect floorplan for those needing a bit more cargo and/or sleeping capacity. The 2616 is really a ‘No Compromises’ toy hauler with a lengthy list of both standard and optional features, built to Lance’s high level of quality.”
“I have been involved in numerous toy hauler product development programs,” says Randy Hunter, manager for research & development at Lance, “and can tell you this is the highest quality product I have ever seen and am very proud to put the Lance chevron on it.”
“From our beginning in North Hollywood, Calif., and the first cab-over model, and with moves to larger facilities to accommodate our growth – first to Pacoima, Calif., and to our current state of the art facility in Lancaster, Calif. – our goal is and remains the same: build the highest quality product possible,” said Jack Cole, president and CEO, in a press release.
He added, “Although Lance has always been known as the leader in truck camper manufacturing, since the introduction of ultra-light travel trailers in 2009, our trailers have become the fastest selling models in the $20,000 to $30,000 price range, enjoying 53% growth in the first quarter of this year. And with the introduction of the all-new toy haulers, we have demonstrated the ability to adjust to consumer demand and market conditions, while staying true to our brand, true to our customers and committed to our dealer business partners.”
Bob Rogers, director of marketing, noted, “We are also very proud to have earned our 12th RV Dealers Association DSI Quality Circle Award at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., and RVDA’s Sue Caldwell Memorial Award for Outstanding Achievement in membership recruitment for adding members to RVDA’s membership ranks during 2013. We are working very hard to earn our 13th DSI Quality Circle Award this year.”
To help celebrate its 50th anniversary, Lance has designed a special product logo for its 2015 models to commemorate the milestone.
“We celebrate not ourselves with this milestone anniversary; rather, we celebrate our relationships and this industry that has been so very good to so many,” said Cole. “It will be a year-long celebration of looking back as well as looking forward, revising policies and procedures, refining what is working well and innovating to stay ahead of the competition. What we hope will be obvious throughout is how one thing has never changed: Our dedication to providing our customers the best built RV’s in the business.”

In addition to the website growth, Lance has committed to Facebook as the primary channel for social media. Additional presence is also on several other channels for relevance and SEO.
