Lazydays RV Center Inc. Named Top Carriage Dealer

Lazydays RV Center Inc., Seffner, Fla.,  was recently named the top selling, single-store dealership for 2009 by Carriage Inc. This marks the fourth year since 2004 that Lazydays has achieved No. 1 selling status for Carriage, according to a news release.

“Professional consistency and care for return business are in my opinion the two main contributors to Lazydays’ success,” said Don Emahiser, Carriage vice president of sales and marketing. “Over the years, Lazydays has developed a great team of employees to sell their great products.”

“We value our long time partnership with Carriage and are proud to have earned this award,” said Pat Overby, Lazydays general sales manager. “Our employee partners are dedicated to serving their customers, making extra efforts every day to provide them with an outstanding ownership experience.”

Lazydays was founded in 1976 with two travel trailers and $500. Today, the company is the largest single-site RV dealership in North America.

Lazydays Buys Final Fleetwood Travel Trailers

Seffner, Fla.-based Lazydays RV Center Inc. recently finalized its purchase of Fleetwood Industries Inc.’s remaining travel trailers. In total, 154 units were purchased for resale, Lazydays announced in a news release.

“Lazydays has partnered with Fleetwood in travel trailer sales for more than 30 years,” said Pat Overby, general sales manager of Lazydays. “Fleetwood has always manufactured top quality RVs and although we’re sorry to see them exit the travel trailer business, we’re excited that we can provide our customers these remaining products at a great value.”
