Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC announced today (Sept. 13) that Dymon Farrer has been appointed general manager of its Lifestyle Luxury RV Division. He will be responsible for manufacturing, sales and distribution of all Lifestyle Luxury RV brands, including the new Alfa Gold fifth-wheel, and the EverGreen Bay Hill and Tesla fifth-wheel brands.
According to a press release, Farrer brings over 20 years of RV industry management and sales experience, having worked for some of several high-profile towable builders including Keystone RV Co., SunnyBrook RV and Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc. Prior to his experience in the RV industry Farrer worked in the financial and banking industry in Chicago.
“Dymon and I have a business relationship that spans more than 15 years in the RV industry,” said EverGreen President and COO Mark Boessler. “We are excited to have him as key member of the EverGreen team.”
Farrer graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., with a bachelor’s in business management and marketing. He is a graduate of Concord High School in Elkhart where he currently resides.

In the year-and-a-half since EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC launched its Lifestyle Luxury RV division, the high-end fifth-wheel builder has continued to grow sales and market share.
According to a report by the Elkhart Truth, more than 40% of the units have sold, it’s received recognition from RV trade publications and, following the demise of Carriage RV, the National Carriage Travel Club switched allegiance to Lifestyle.
“These are phenomenal total retail numbers for the sale of a single branded product from just 18 months of its launch,” said Dymon Farrer, general manager of Lifestyle Luxury RV, in a press release.
Last December, Lifestyle was recognized at the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) trade show in Louisville, Ky., with awards from industry publications RV Business and RV Pro. That recognition led to a growing dealership network, according to the company.
La Mesa RV, with a dozen dealerships in four states, reported great success with the brand.
“Lifestyle is doing well,” said Jason Kimbrell, head of towable sales for LaMesa. “Certain categories have exceeded expectations. I don’t think anyone thought there was the market for high-end fifth-wheels like the Lifestyle.”

Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC announced that Brian Coyle has been appointed East Coast sales manager for subsidiary Lifestyle Luxury RV, selling the company’s line of high-end fifth-wheels.
According to a press release, Coyle brings over 10 years of sales experience, having worked for some of the best-known brands in the RV industry. He graduated from the University of North Carolina.
“We’ve assembled a great team here and it’s an exciting time to be at Lifestyle RV,” said Coyle. “With custom frames built in-house, along with exceptional quality, and new lines coming soon, dealers and retail customers are taking notice. High-end fifth-wheel builder Lifestyle Luxury RV, a division of EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, announced that based on consumer vehicle registrations of fifth-wheels sold at dealerships coast-to-coast, over 40% of the company’s units have been sold since the brand was founded in February of 2012.
“These are phenomenal total retail numbers for the sale of a single-branded product from just 18 months of its launch,” said Dymon Farrer, general manager of the Middlebury, Ind.-based builder, in a press release. “In my previous life as a full-time sales representative, I was happy to have a brand retail 15% to 20% off sales lots in one year. We are extremely pleased with the consumer response to the Lifestyle Luxury RV fifth-wheels and so are our dealers.”
Lifestyle said that its lineup gained early recognigion at last year’s Louisville Show, included among RVBusiness Magazine’s Top RV Debuts for 2013 and RV Pro Magazine’s Best of Show for 2013. Since that time, the company has steadily grown its dealer base across the country.
Bucky Moree, president of the National Carriage Travel Club, recently stated his groups’ dedication to the legacy Lifestyle Luxury RV brand.

Family owned La Mesa RV, with 12 dealerships nationwide in the states of California, New Mexico, Arizona and Florida, is having great success selling Lifestyle’s fifth-wheels.

Kimbrell spoke to the type of consumer purchasing Lifestyle. “This is definitely a niche product,” he said. “It’s almost exclusively retirees. And a very large percentage of these buyers are full-timers. They are living out of the Lifestyle 12 months out of the year or using it as primary vacation home. And they just don’t park them, they travel.
“We’ve been real happy with the product and the folks at EverGreen that build the Lifestyle. It’s a great company. They build a great product, they stand behind what they build. We are thrilled and honored to have the relationship we have with EverGreen.”

Middlebury, Ind.-based LIFESTYLE Luxury RV, a division of EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, announced today (Nov. 13) it has entered into a formal partnership with the Carriage Travel Club Inc. (CTC).
According to a press release, CTC is an independent owners’ club separate from former high-end fifth-wheel manufacturer Carriage Inc., and maintains an active, enthusiastic base of fifth-wheel owners. The group had been seeking a new fifth-wheel maker to partner with, and selected LIFESTYLE after a thorough, deliberate search and review process.
“After we had the opportunity to tour the LIFESTYLE Luxury RV facility and see the models in production, I had no doubt that this was the best engineered and designed fifth-wheel unit on the market, and that’s why I had no doubt that LIFESTYLE was the most logical partner for CTC,” Bucky Moree, president of the CTC, explained. “It’s clear LIFESTYLE has the entire DNA of what our members expect and want. Running in conjunction with the Elkhart County RV Open House Week, LIFESTYLE will be showing product at its display area on Executive Parkway at the entrance to the RV/MH Hall of Fame, just north of the intersection of County Road 17 and County Road 6 in Elkhart.
