The Lite Cylinder Co., a Franklin, Tenn.-based propane cylinder manufacturer, will be featured on The Science Channel’s popular show “How It’s Made,” premiering Friday (Jan. 21).

The “How It’s Made” film crew visited the Lite Cylinder’s manufacturing facility in July to capture the entire manufacturing process. Hours of footage were condensed into an informative 4 1/2- minute segment detailing the intricate manufacturing and testing procedures to create a cylinder.
The Lite Cylinder is a propane cylinder made of a composite material that is translucent so propane levels are always visible, 30% lighter than steel cylinders and will not rust. The cylinders are used for grilling, boating, camping and hunting.
