Richard Liberty of Oregon City, Ore., is the winner of a new Montana fifth-wheel in the Keystone RV Co. “Live Your Dreams” national promotion.
Upon naming the Montana winner, Keystone President Bob Martin announced the renewal of the promotion for a second year.
According to Martin in a news release, the 2009-2010 sweepstakes was extremely successful in driving traffic to Keystone websites and generating quality leads for Keystone dealers. “We saw a huge jump in web traffic during the promotional period as well as a tremendous increase in the quality and quantity of leads we deliver to our dealers,” he said. “With the strong RV recovery we are witnessing this spring, we feel the time is now to continue the momentum and provide Keystone dealers with the additional leads they need to close even more sales.”
Launching today (March 11), the new Keystone Live Your Dreams RV sweepstakes will target more than 5 million current and prospective RV owners each month through RV websites, trade magazines and retail shows. The sweepstakes is being promoted in Trailer Life and Highways magazines, both Affinity Group Inc., publications, and on related websites.
Four Keystone RVs will be given away by the time the contest ends in February 2011. The four RVs to be awarded include a Keystone Hornet, Passport, Sprinter and Montana Mountaineer.
Martin says many Keystone dealers have placed links on their websites for the Live Your Dreams promotion. “We encourage all Keystone dealers to take advantage of this opportunity to use the promotion as a tool to increase their web traffic.”
A retired deputy sheriff, Liberty is an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsmen who looks forward to taking his new Montana out into the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Says Liberty, “This new Montana will be a big step up in comfort and style from the small fifth wheel we now own. Montana has been my dream coach. I can hardly believe I really won this!”
In fact, Liberty is already planning his first trip: to the Oregon Coast. “I can’t wait to take delivery of my new Montana. I’ve looked at them on line and at RV shows. I’ve been saving up money to buy one, but this is unreal! Of all the people who entered the contest, I was the winner. Wow!” Montana was the grand prize in the contest which previously awarded a Springdale travel trailer, an Outback travel trailer, and a Cougar fifth-wheel. Liberty’s name was chosen from over 140,000 entries in the year‐long contest.
Nancy Heckert of Panama City, Fla., has won a new Keystone Outback travel trailer valued at more than $26,000, the management of Keystone RV Co. announced Thursday (Aug. 27). The Outback, the second of four grand prizes Keystone will award during its year-long Live Your Dreams promotion, was chosen at random from more than 85,000 sweepstakes entries.
The Heckerts — Nancy, husband Clay and 11-year-old son PJ (shown at left) — currently enjoy camping in a folding camping trailer, reports Nancy, who grew up in a family of RV enthusiasts. But that’s about to change.
“The evening I first learned we had won the Outback I couldn’t sleep I was so excited,” says Nancy Heckert. “Winning this new Outback could not have come at a better time. We have wanted to move up from a tent camper but weren’t quite ready. PJ’s more excited than any of us and can’t wait to see his new Outback travel trailer.”
The positive publicity generated by the Live Your Dreams national promotion, a marketing program supported by the web platforms of Ventura, Calif.-based Affinity Media, is driving increased traffic to Keystone’s website and helping to put more consumers in touch with Keystone travel trailers and fifth-wheels, the Goshen, Ind.-based Thor subsidiary reports.
“Literally tens of thousands of interested consumers have visited the Keystone website due to the exposure this sweepstakes has generated,” says Keystone Executive Vice President Bob Martin. “These visitors learn more about Keystone travel trailers and fifth-wheels, and, many times, contact our dealers for further followup. The Live Your Dreams promotion is a win for the consumer, our dealers and for Keystone RV and our employees.”
In winning the Outback trailer, the Heckerts follow a South Georgia couple, Mackie and Gail Daniels, who took home a new $26,000 Keystone Springdale travel trailer in the first phase of the unique retail promotion.
