Livin' Lite logoLivin’ Lite Recreational Vehicles LLC, innovators of ultra-lightweight, all-aluminum campers, has announced that it will be holding a dealer open house Sept. 27-30 at its facility in Wakarusa, Ind.

The company will be displaying new Camplite all-aluminum enclosed travel trailers, Quicksilver all-aluminum tent campers and its VRV line of all-aluminum toy haulers, according to a news release.

Livin’ Lite is headed by Scott Tuttle and was just recently named to the INC. Magazine’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies in America.

“We know that a lot of dealers are going to be in Elkhart County the week of the 27th visiting other manufacturers because they have been calling us about wanting to stop by,” stated Troy Andrews, Livin’ Lite general manager, “In fact, there were enough of those calls that we decided to put some units on display and officially invite dealers to see what Livin’ Lite has offer them for 2011.”

Livin’ Lite has created a unique niche in the market by concentrating on automotive campers which can be pulled by small cars and minivans, and which offer sleeping for up to six people.

“Our success has come from persuading dealers to take a chance on something outside of their normal inventory – and that is smaller, automotive campers. Those who do have been rewarded because there is a tidal wave of people out there who like to tent camp and who drive smaller fuel efficient vehicles,” said Tuttle, “In fact, while industry pundits say that we (the industry) will sell approximately 180,000 traditionally built RVs this year, studies show that there were more than 33.4 million people tent camping last year. A good portion of these tent campers would just like to get off the ground. Our campers allow them to do that while providing comfort, storage and livability – at an affordable price.”
