Perfectly timed for the summer RV season, Long View RV SuperStores is marking its 50th year in business with a huge open house RV sale at both its Connecticut and Florida locations. This 11-day event offers bargains on everything from Class A gas or diesel motorhomes to folding camping trailers to fifth-wheels and toy haulers, according to a news release.
“We wanted to thank our customers for their support over the past 50 years,” explains Frank Roberts, president of family-owned Long View RV SuperStores. “So we decided to throw open both showrooms and offer buyers both new and old the most fantastic roll-back prices ever.”
The 50th Golden Anniversary Sale will include free hotdogs and sandwiches, chips and cookies, entertainment and the chance to win $10,000 in gold.
Manufacturers representatives will be onsite at both the Windsor Locks, Conn., and Dover, Fla., locations, to answer questions and explain the latest features and technologies that RVers will discover that these enormous sales.
Five decades ago, Fran and Shirley Roberts opened their first RV center in Massachusetts, at the Long View observation tower which gave the business its name and logo. The site in Windsor Locks opened in 1993, headed up by their son Frank, and in late 2004, they opened their Florida location on a 22-acre lot on the outskirts of Tampa.
