Spring is just around the corner, and Central Oklahoma’s premier RV dealers are ready to help create vacation memories that will last a lifetime at the 42nd Annual RV Super Show and Outdoor Expo on March 10-13 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Senior reported.

Oklahoma’s largest, most prominent RV dealers invite the general public to Oklahoma City’s State Fair Park to take advantage of promotions featuring their massive inventory of brand name recreational vehicles including motor homes, fifth-wheels, travel trailers, sport utility RVs (toy haulers) and popup campers.

The Oklahoma RV Dealer’s Association estimates families using RVs save between 27% and 61% on a typical family vacation. Family benefits from RV usage paired with current industry indicators, such as record sales trends, make now the ideal time to make an RV investment.

McClain’s RV Superstore of Oklahoma City reports a 22% sales increase for 2010 and anticipates an additional increase of 15% to 20% for 2011. Record sales mean more aggressive pricing, promotions and manufacturer incentive pricing.

Gary Wyatt, manager of McClain’s, said “This is exciting news for consumers because we’re going into this year’s show with a completely different attitude, and we are looking forward to having one of the largest displays at the show.”

Lewis RV also announced record sales for 2010, with a 15% increase over the previous two years. Chuck Lewis says, “Volume purchases will also allow for special discounts and promotions at this year’s show.”

Lewis RV will be featuring models by a variety of brands, including Open Range and Forest River with new floorplans including luxury suites, fire places and patio rooms. Toy hauler models will also be available featuring new, upper-end features.

Lee’s RV also reports record sales for 2010, surpassing the annual sales records of their previous 38 years in business. Extensive selection and experience allow Lee’s RV and the other premier RV dealers to find the RV that suits any family’s size and budget. Financing has relaxed, with twice the RV lenders available as compared to last year. Trade-ins are also welcome.

The Verizon team will also be onsite in the Verizon RV.

“Verizon Wireless has been a proud participant of the Central Oklahoma RV Show for the past four years and we’re looking forward to seeing what’s in store this year,” said Justin Williams, Oklahoma City Walnut Square Store manager – Verizon Wireless. “As the nation’s largest, most reliable 3G network and largest 4G network, Verizon is excited to showcase its products, Mobile Broadband and Home Connect capabilities. These services are a great way to enhance the travel experience of RV enthusiasts everywhere.”

Free RV maintenance seminars will be offered Thursday and Friday at 2 p.m. in the Cox Pavilion to help RV patrons prepare for the road on a budget. Gary Motley, master certified RV maintenance technician, said “If customers knew a few more RV maintenance tips, it would diminish their RV repair cost.”

Refreshments and a variety of family-friendly booths offering both indoor and outdoor products and services will also be available throughout the climate-controlled buildings.

Hitch Hermit LLC is a welcomed addition to this year’s show. They will be introducing an innovative new device that attaches under the rear bumpers of RVs, pickups and SUVs. The device allows for convenient, safe storage of ball hitches.

Parking is free, and admission to the show is only $8 per person. All Children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. Half-price days, sponsored by NewsOK.com, allows everyone to get in for half price on Thursday and Friday only.
