RV Web Services, a provider of website and mobile solutions for RV dealers and a division of Dominion Enterprises, has released the Premium Mobile service and the RVWS Maintenance app to help dealers customize their mobile website and improve dealership processes.
“We expect that more people will access the Internet via mobile devices than computers by 2014,” said Tim Custer, general manager of sales and marketing for Dominion RV Solutions, in a press release. “Dealerships need to provide the best online experience, both on their full website and their mobile website, or they will miss out on potential customers researching dealerships.”
Through RV Web Services’ Premium Mobile service, dealers can prominently display their dealership’s brand on the mobile web with graphic elements such as custom banners, customized navigation and color schemes.
RV Web Services’ newly released iPhone app is designed to help dealers streamline their inventory upload process. With the RVWS Maintenance app, dealers can photograph units as they arrive at the dealership and upload pictures directly to their website’s inventory from iPhone or iPad. In addition to updating inventory in real time, dealers can use the app to access their inventory for a quick reference on specifications and availability.
“Our new RVWS Maintenance app eliminates the time-consuming steps in adding inventory photos to website listings,” said Custer.

Jayco Inc. recently launched a new “mobile website” making product information and owner resources accessible from anywhere.
Featuring easy-to-use navigation and an optimized layout, the site provides the same important information about Jayco products and services as the company’s website, www.jayco.com, but in an all-mobile package, according to a press release.
Customers can access the site by visiting jayco.com on their mobile device with the site immediately redirecting traffic to the new mobile site.
“We are excited to launch a tool that allows customers to connect to the Jayco brand from anywhere,” said Sid Johnson, director of marketing for Middlebury, Ind.-based Jayco. “We want to provide our customers with easy access to information about our products and our dealers. The Jayco mobile website will be powerful in enhancing the digital Jayco experience.”
The mobile site showcases Jayco’s extensive product line of RVs with its organized list of features, specifications, floorplans and photos. Allowing for easy product research, the site allows customers to easily shop Jayco’s camping trailers, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, motorhomes and toy haulers, all on a mobile device.
Other key features of the site include: A dealer locator with mapping feature; roadside assistance information; a campground locator; towing guidelines; and an RV glossary.
